i don't have a motor available right now to confirm that but 100% look at the video again, just do it by marks, remaining i think the 2nd piston was close to top end center but not totally up

no, no tienen ningún clutch, si el motor se siente como cuando un automobile de transmission estandard ( usa clutch) y andas en 3 velocidad y sientes que el motor está sobrecargado en revoluciones y no avanza como debe pues lo mas seguro es que la distancia entre la propela ( impeller)y la pared ( wearing) es muy grande y lejos de comprimir el agua para que salga a mas velocidad por el cono trazero pues retorna .. la distancia debe ser cerca de 1 mm para Mayor eficiencia

hay otro detalle del vx110 y de los motores FX de Yamaha ( los conocidos como MR1) no son como los demas jetskis en este aspecto, una vuelta el cigüeñal por una vuelta el (impeller) propela en español, estos motores tienen un reductor que les da un sonido caracteristo por los engranes no ser elicoidales, este reductor (recurriendo a la memoria visual) funciona así aprox 1 Vuelta el cigüeñal por aprox 3/4 de vuelta la propela lo que lo hace sentir como si tuviese un clutch que patina tambien

no, es porque es medio milimetro mas fino y es 301( pistón mas grande) le puse uno nuevo mas gordito y puedes ver el color en los videos mios que lo lleve desde Fort Myers Florida hasta Denver Colorado ida y vuelta y nunca se puso azul

piston #3 is the one closest to the shaft , once #3 is starting to come up you will see a line mark on the crankshaft

@@leomarrero mine must be different lol, because my middle piston has to be TDC for it to have the groove in the flywheel. 2015 engine

it is there, when the #3 is coming up, you will see it, be patient, use a flash light

@@leomarrero I think I found it but im not 100% sure. Piston 2 is at TDC and pistom 3 is on its way up. I see a small indent. Lets hope thats it or else ill be buying a new valves kit

@@garrettomalley6436 is the only mark on the crankshaft, it's visible through the crankcase hole

@@leomarrero Just got it aligned. My next challenge is to put the timing chain on over the cams. How you do do this? It doesnt seem like the chain reaches?

There's an special tool for that but you can use the same shaft with a pipe wrench, also the piston #3 is coming up when you see Mark on the crankshaft

@@leomarrero What do you use to remove the clamp on the 2nd boot? is it necessary to disconnect the crankshaft? Thank you for your help!

@@michaelkelley4421 if boot isn't leaking isn't necessary to remove from shaft

you can use the same shaft ( some tape around) with a pipe wrench or search on Google or eBay this one Sea-Doo Impeller Removal Tool Spark Seadoo Pump 529036273

in normal conditions they shouldn't jump any teeth, just put the time again and check the tensioner

@@leomarrero so they are not interference engines? the pistons won't hit the valves?

@@thegarre 1 tooth no, but several yes, you might have bent valves, set the time again buy a compression tester on autozone, napa.... and read the compression, if compression is 0 make your plan to rebuild the valves
