Very good transcription apart from a few places but pretty good adaptation. It`s indeed more difficult to play than it looks at first. I tried it without rimshots and for me it sound a bit better. Check Gerwin Eisenhauer if you like this style adapted for drums.

This solo is deceptively difficult. I thought it seemed easy when I first watched it but it's surprisingly complex at parts, not to mention keeping steady on the ride is killer on the wrist.

This is something the OLD school jazz cats would have done.... I mean, not necessarily this specific exercise, but they were always pushing themselves... that's why those 65 and 70 year old 1st gen jazz drummers could do burning 15 minute solos without even breaking a sweat and be absolutely clean.
