Hey man great review. I found the same watch as yours for 340 dollars! Then a found the two tone version of it for 240 dollars. I like the full gold better but i think the price is too much, I don’t know which is better value since I don’t know how much they were priced back then or how much they’re going for these days.

Having wanted a Rolex for years, I finally did my research and wanted a watch as a full set including inner, outer box, and all paperwork. For me I wanted the Champaign dial and it had a very good 3135 movement. I bought mine through a reputable dealer two months ago. Mine had very little wear with the same bracelet as yours.

Is this watch discontinued? I can't find it.

I bought the blue one but with the other bezel, it arrived yesterday. I had it on my hand for 24 hours, which means even when I was sleeping and it lost half a second, I'm very satisfied.

I don't mean to dump on this timepiece, but being off +-10 sec's a month is not very impressive for a quartz watch. This decade I already had some dirt cheap $34.50 quartz Q&Q watch that was only off 3 sec's a month (and perhaps it had a quartz crystal that's better than those in most quartz watches, because the battery lasted even less than 1 year).

It’s a nice watch. I’ve been debating on wether I should go with a Seiko 5 Automatic or the Casio Duro Quartz. After seeing your video I think I might just opt for the Casio.

Yeah, the gold on mine developed brown spots on the fluted bezel. Looking through UA-cam for a video to fix it.

Thanks for taking the time to review this vintage watch! I came across a 'Rolex' at a pawn shop on a whim, and it was a possible vintage model retailing for $5,000 but upon inspection, I saw that the gold links were hollow which made me think it was fake. The box itself also didn't look genuine, but perhaps I was wrong? I believe it was a smaller model than this one though, more of a ladies' watch.

Does it gain or lose any seconds per day?

I’ve tried so many times in so many ways to bring myself to love this watch, but it’s cheap and nasty, the bracelet keeps folding back on itself and getting caught, the lugs are sharp and unfinished, the movement is the same as in my £300 no-name Mercedes watch (set in the same nylon shell!), and the markers and handset are downright ugly. I really like the case shape and the dial, I’ve gotten a lot of compliments, but I hate putting it on and wearing it. Also, the second hand alignment is awful. You got lucky. Even the bezel on mine is crooked.
