Today I worked on transitioning to the net with a slice. Using the slice as a transition tool helps to apply pressure to your opponent without incurring a high level of risk on your end. This drill helps to develop this slice shot and the volleys that happen once approaching the net. Try the drill out for yourself!

I finally caved and decided to try out Volkl Cyclone one of the most famous strings among junior competitive players. While this string wasn't for me due to its hollow cheap feeling, I do believe its a good option for players who hit big from the baseline and have big backswings. Do you think this is a good string for most players?

    Is my racket of choice for a month now. Coming from Pure Strike 16×19 is a perfect choice from me. I have some extra feel and forgiveness compare the Pure strike plus it maintains my aggressive style of game easier on the important moments of the game. Amazing racket for aggressive and modern tennis!!! Really love it❤❤❤

    I’ve been trying to like this string since all the reviews are saying that is a control oriented string, firm and the shaped edges help with spin. I bough the 1.25mm. And strung at 56lbs in my brand new Vcore 98 2023. I like super firm feel so I can swing and never having that fear of over hitting. But this string it’s super soft and powerful. I don’t know if I should’ve gone higher tension for more control but 56kg is already quite high, since I strung my old Ezone 100 2020 with Ashaway Kevlar 17 (mains) Signum Poly plasma 1.23mm (crosses) at 55kg. I love the champagne look for the string but I can’t play with it… the string feels good, very comfortable. If you like ball pocketing this is perfect for you. But for me just feels like a trampoline almost like when the strings go dead. Since I used Kevlar I never broke a string. So that’s the only way I can describe the feel of this freshly strung set 😩

    I have Head Lynx Tour in my Ezone 100. Absolutely love the string with this racket! I tried Poly Tour Pro in Yellow as well, went with 21kg for the Lynx Tour and 23kg for the Poly Tour Pro since the Yonex PTP is a bit softer. The winner for me is the Lynx Tour, it feels better while giving me more spin. Don't see the Lynx Tour as that stiff when I have it at lower tension, it's my go to string these days. Have you tried the Furi C4? Hard to get here in Europe, but I have it in my other racket and enjoyed it a bit, would love to get my hands on more of it and try it out in my Ezone to compare with Lynx Tour.

  • @Nessaj87
    @Nessaj87 Рік тому

    I'm no stringexpert. Only played for 7months. I have 3 Tecnifibre Tempo 298 Iga rackets. One is strung with Furi C4, then I had the two others strung with Hyper-G and Poly Tour Rev (Orange) at 21kg/46,3pounds - both 1.25. Enjoyed hitting with the Furi C4 and Hyper-G more than with the Poly Tour Rev. Seeing as the Poly Tour Rev is the most expensive one of these 3, I find it weird how it didn't amaze me more or that it at the minimum should have feltbetter than the two others. But it didn't. I will try to play more with it, but just like in your case, the first impression was not impressive. My favourite string is Head Lynx Tour in my Ezone 100! Will try that next in the Tempo 298 IGA.

  • @cabforwardooo9983
    @cabforwardooo9983 Рік тому

    Head Lynx Tour is one of my favorite strings. I have only tried the Grey version so far and don't know if the color affects its characteristics. I string it either at 48lbs in a one string job or at 50lbs on the mains and 46lbs on the crosses. In a Yonex VCORE Pro, it's definitely a comfort/control string that's easy on the arm and produces very decent spin. I generally take a full swing and hit with top from both sides, but I'm not a string breaker. This string stays consistent for me for a long time, maybe up to 20 hours before I feel that it starts to trampoline a bit. At 32lbs I'm not surprised that it might seem to have a lot of power, but closer to 50lbs it's still comfortable while affording good control. It's worth a try.

      Racket is the standard American spelling of the word. Racquet is an alternative spelling[2][3] more common in Britain, as evidenced by the BBC style guide.[4] Racquet is used more commonly in certain sports, such as tennis, squash, racquetball, and badminton, and less commonly in others. However, the International Tennis Federation uses racket, which is the original spelling;[1] dating from the 16th century. Racquet appeared in the 19th century as a French-influenced variant of racket.[1]
