Head Lynx Tour is one of my favorite strings. I have only tried the Grey version so far and don't know if the color affects its characteristics. I string it either at 48lbs in a one string job or at 50lbs on the mains and 46lbs on the crosses. In a Yonex VCORE Pro, it's definitely a comfort/control string that's easy on the arm and produces very decent spin. I generally take a full swing and hit with top from both sides, but I'm not a string breaker. This string stays consistent for me for a long time, maybe up to 20 hours before I feel that it starts to trampoline a bit. At 32lbs I'm not surprised that it might seem to have a lot of power, but closer to 50lbs it's still comfortable while affording good control. It's worth a try.
I’ve been trying to like this string since all the reviews are saying that is a control oriented string, firm and the shaped edges help with spin. I bough the 1.25mm. And strung at 56lbs in my brand new Vcore 98 2023. I like super firm feel so I can swing and never having that fear of over hitting. But this string it’s super soft and powerful. I don’t know if I should’ve gone higher tension for more control but 56kg is already quite high, since I strung my old Ezone 100 2020 with Ashaway Kevlar 17 (mains) Signum Poly plasma 1.23mm (crosses) at 55kg. I love the champagne look for the string but I can’t play with it… the string feels good, very comfortable. If you like ball pocketing this is perfect for you. But for me just feels like a trampoline almost like when the strings go dead. Since I used Kevlar I never broke a string. So that’s the only way I can describe the feel of this freshly strung set 😩
I have Head Lynx Tour in my Ezone 100. Absolutely love the string with this racket! I tried Poly Tour Pro in Yellow as well, went with 21kg for the Lynx Tour and 23kg for the Poly Tour Pro since the Yonex PTP is a bit softer. The winner for me is the Lynx Tour, it feels better while giving me more spin. Don't see the Lynx Tour as that stiff when I have it at lower tension, it's my go to string these days. Have you tried the Furi C4? Hard to get here in Europe, but I have it in my other racket and enjoyed it a bit, would love to get my hands on more of it and try it out in my Ezone to compare with Lynx Tour.
I am purchased this and can’t wait to try it on the Radical Pro. I switched from Tecnifibre ice code to Head Lynx Touch recently but have to try this one. Where is your video on why you play with low tension? Curious…
I have this string on the mains and Velocity MLT on the crosses for comfort and power, this hybrid is ok but I think there are better multifiliments out there or use a softer poly like the new Lynx Touch. I had my tension at 49 - 46 but I feel its way to high so 46 - 43 would have been better.
I agree with that in every aspect except playability. At least personally that blue poly tour spin from Yonex dies a lot faster than this Lynx tour did for me.
@@mteca5093 I have used the quadro twist from YTEX and was pleasantely suprised with it. the yonex poly tour pro I think plays the best in yellow, I don't have any experience with the other colors.

Thanks for the review. Picked up a bunch of these when they were at $5 a pack.
nice! I'm glad the review was helpful. $5 a pack is 100% worth It, really good deal
Great review! Definitely going to try this string

Same here, I think it's not suit for yonex sticks

Nice combo, I think you're right you may prefer using something like an X-One Biphase in the crosses. Thanks for watching the video!
What string tension you suggest for lynx tour on mains and velocity mlt on crosses? I am kind a baseline hitter with agressive style
I would likely do in the low 50s for both.
how do you compare it to yonex poly tour strike?
Hawk or Lynx tour which one do you think have more power? I am using Hawk 54 bl right now.
better hyper g is the yonex spin in blue color

@@10sjunkies74 have you tried ytex quattro twist or yonex polytour pro in gray black color? Tbose strings lasted me the longest

@@10sjunkies74 whats you string for tournaments
@@10sjunkies74 if you like yellow then must try the dark...im on 20hours plus and still little notching....i do prestretch my strings
which do you prefer hyper G or this lynx tour?
Sorry for the late response. I personally prefer hyper g
I've tried both and I find that Hyper G is not as comfortable at around 48lbs.
Bad sound
