July Lunch and Learn--Overseers Site Research Paper RoundUp
In March of 2024, the archaeology staff attended the Mid-Atlantic Archaeology Conference held in Ocean City, Maryland. During this conference, the staff delivered 11 papers exploring the work we have carried out on the Overseers Site. These papers are the product of four seasons of excavations at the site and cover a wide range of topics from exploring evidence for the architecture of the overseer’s house, yard spaces, evidence of diet and consumer choices, and more! Staff will be presenting brief summaries of their papers and will be available to answer your questions. This is a great opportunity to get even more information about the incredible findings from the Overseers Site.
The papers delivered at the Lunch and Learn today will be five minute versions of the longer papers delivered at the conference. The following folder contains the longer version of these papers:

Hi my name is Derek Lunt, I am the author of the biography "James Maury Esq first American Consul to the Port of Liverpool 1790 - 1829" published on Amazon 2016. I listened with interest to your video about Maury but some of the information could only be gleaned from my biography. It would be nice if you could give me a credit for some of the information and my book. I am a member of the Fontaine Maury society but I live in Liverpool, England. U.K. Regards Derek Lunt.

I mentioned the Domestic Slave Trade in a discussion about black people being indigenous to America. I was laughed at and mocked with quotes about how I made up the concept. Though I don't remember going over this in school it was implied. That being said the lack of knowledge about this trade is reprehensible when one ponders the amount of people forcibly moved over such a short period of time.

How do you get out of it? SUICIDE is the only exit for what a fix it is. God hates this school more than John Winthrop. The House that Pandora’s Box made, the typical USA physician that is a register atheist to sell his curse on earth, they are condemned to a Hospital never to be needed for anything, the American Doctor, a reptile.
