      I have a video on my channel where I pulled 140kg somewhere. Tbh though I haven’t trained them in a while so Im not sure what my current max is. I would probably say around 130-135kg

      @@ilanaizelman3993 honestly mate. All I really ever have done grip wise, is fatgrip deads / pull ups. Coc grippers. Towel pull ups. And on rare occasions some wrist wrench. Oh!!! And most importantly… never use straps ever 😆

      Thanks mate. Felt like time slowed down on that final rep 😂. Ohh and This is a hook grip btw. I max out about 225kg or something when I pull strictly double overhand. Most of my deadlifts up until that weight are pulled without a hook grip, unless Im going for higher reps 😎

      Bench twice a week. Do a ton of overhead pressing and weighted dips. Figure out where your weakest and then target them areas after with high rep assistance exercises after. Thats about all I do personally 😃

    Your other hand is touching it for a significant part of the range of motion. I personally wouldnt be satisfied with that nor would I count it. Just place it in your hand, then remove the other hand completely, pause for a second, and then try to close it.

      These are not like the cheap shit grippers you get at the supermarket. You are allowed to set them in your hand like this. Its called a deep set. Though if you’re questioning my ability to close, then take a look at my other vids. I have many other COC3 closes out there.

      It’s literally in the title haha. I just switch out the overhead presses sometimes for weighted dips. Take a look through my more recent vids, and you will see I just follow a basic 5/3/1 FSL structure 😎

    Interesting 😂. I can deadlift over 320kg but I struggle with 2. I can't fully close it. Yet grip isn't an issue on the deadlift. I use mix grip. I never wear straps.

      320kg! Thats awesome. My best is 255kg currently. I never use straps either. My hands have always been pretty adaptable. Dunno why. Haven’t really used my Grippers much lately, so probably couldn’t close a 3 right now. It usually only takes me a few sessions to regain my strength though.

Whilst an other person can have elite level grip strength and a subpar deadlift. I've used the No.2 grippers for 4 or 5 weeks now and can now only just close them 😂. Moving on to No 2.5 now

      ​@IronHandsDan sorry dude thats not what i meant. I meant in terms absolute strength. Strong grip doesn't always equat to deadlift strength. My grip strength is way weaker then yours. Yet ive never had a issue in terms of grip strength on the deadlift

      Errrr Best thing to do is just keep on trying. Took me a year to close the 3, and all I really did was double overhand deadlifts and fargripz pull ups. Learn how to set the gripper in your hands properly to. It makes a big difference 😎 Hope that helps

    as a 260kg puller in the conventional stance, I feel like your gonna hurt your back the way you yank it, and don't pull the slack out of the bar first. Also if you keep your head a little higher your back will have more power when the pull starts, and you'll feel tighter. And it looks like your doing more of a stiff leg deadlift. But maybe im totatly wrong and your form works for you... just trying to give some tips to a fellow lifter. Nice lifts tho!
