Your cdi seems stronger than the Honda but the sparks are still orange red . Ive made cdi's in the 70s 80s much larger capacitor s and the spark was blue as blue can be . Fuel economy gains are very memorable smoother idle smoother power curve. Your on the money with your ideas keep at it maby multi spark it as well (CDI MULTI SPARK) could be your new invention.

Why don't you wash your hands and trim your dirty fingernails before making close up video? This is very disgusting. Very bad assembling and soldering skill. You bother to put the components in a perf board, but your placement and wiring is still a big mess. Practice making good solder joints.

Does it work on battery operated stators? Primary coils gets it power from the magnet not from the battery itself

The standard OEM setup is probably perfectly adequate assuming the engine runs cleanly without misfires. Having a massive excess of ignition energy will not make the engine run any better and possibly reduce the reliability of the system.

I would like to see the durability test! I have a Chinese moped with and imitation Honda engine, and I can say for sure it ran without oil a few times. no problems whatsoever. Good design is built to last.

Hello Mr Wolf ( Chris ) A follow up to my comments on your last CDI ignition video If I may. I commented that I would like to use a 2N3055 to switch upto 7 amps DC to power a high performance HT coil on my 50cc 2 stroke test engine using the standard reluctor coil as a trigger. After many tests I have come to the conclusion that a simple proximity sensor is required to control the base of a 2N3055. That will be a project for another day. After many tests I have come to the conclusion that the standard primary ignition charge coil is running at 100%. By adding a extra 1uf capacitor to the CDI it stops the engine immediately. Tick over 135VAC @ 28ma, 9000 RPM 90VAC @ 90ma dependinng on HT coil used. More insulated copper wire ordered to add more windings to primary coil to increase the voltage.
