Is it better to confront people with how awful, inconsiderate or selfish they are so they hate you for saying that instead of for just quietly distancing yourself from them?

As you get older as an infp, you get better at things. People at work like you cuz you are creative & passionate. You meet deadlines, you take responsibility and you learn how to be an extrovert when you need to be (ex: presentation, meetings). Guess what, you can be funny & chatty without feeling uncomfortable and people can see that you are genuinely a nice person because you are not faking it. That will draw more people to you. You are picky when it comes to friends, so you will choose & make really good, life-long friends through out those years (handful, really caring friends!). Believe me, things get sooo much better as you get older. No toxic relationship or bad friends with negative vibes. No emotional roller coasters. Marriage is also a blessing if your partner is your best friend😊

I am ISFP and I hate myself

Infps are so observant of people that they can see and hear everything when interacting with someone. The infp may feed something back that the other person didnt know that they had made so explicit. INFPs can make liers cringe and squirm.

we are so weak and unattractive lol we are like feminine masculine. i mean we want to be masculine but we like cute things too. most of us are sadboy so its hard to be sigma/alpha male. we cant be leader, but we like to be mastermind because we overthink too much hehe we hardly to be dicipline, we do thing with our moods

I feel so misunderstood as an INFP. Nobody around me really understands why I behave or feel a certain way about many things. Finding out about these personality types has helped me feel a sense of belonging and community. Even though I express when I dislike something I still get judged or get my feelings disregarded, so it’s gotten to a point where I am just so tired of explaining myself. I am very thankful for this community, for the first time I don’t feel alone

Some extroverted feelers like esfj, isfj can be the most annoying becauase you have no idea if they dislike you. Since they can hide their contempt so well.

Yup, 44 yrs old, been bullied so much in life. In school. At home with family. At home with my ex wife. In the work place. Ive finally had enough, and my last job i would push back against my boss. I used to push back when my ex would start fights. Even recently, my dad accused me of having cognitive/behavioral/mental issues because i didnt read his mind and i pushed back too. People don't like it when us INFP's push back, they even still have the gall to continue abusing us calling us irrational, etc. I really wish people would stop being A-holes

I hate people and want to help them 😅

None of this applies to me as an INFP, besides for the not working well under pressure part and being a weird being 🤷🏻‍♀️😅

I'm an INFP 5W4. Everyone think I am crazy. So I take a lot of cognitive function tests and enneagram tests. But it's the same result. I look like an INTP. But more idealistic and my feelings overcome me. Only to suddenly get punch by my own brain to stop talking. So I went to my private room and recharge energy again. It's so stressful.

Another to add is negative people. As a deep thinker I find a lot of the voices around me make their way into my mind. I’m learning to have boundaries but it still is so frustrating.

I feel like ive gone down the worst path emotionally that an infp could have Due to trauma, lack of support and betrayal from those close to me i feel like ive lost that INFP innocence and faith in people, im much more cynical and lonely nowadays...

I think as a fellow INFP we exhibit strong fox or cat like traits, but usually use them in positive ways to help others unless in bad company we may use our less desirable traits to protect in all forms and can be misunderstood due to our isolating nature. I relate most to a red fox I think due to upbringing but most think I'm a black cat of some kind. Anyone else relate?

I will talk as though I'm speaking to someone else. I don't answer myself so that's good. Didn't start until later in life. I can only assume it was due to the fact I had a tumor at the time but it still continues and that was 2010.

As an INFP i am very passionate about acting , singing and dancing , i daydream alot and somehow my story is similar to what u said and that is when u get a big dose of realism , well.. i am very passionate about these 3 things and i wish to pursue this passion but those harsh words made me hit ground however now i am more analytic towards my dream rather then just daydreaming i make plan and working on it , Now my approach towards my dream is foolproof and one thing that could made all these planning possible is to stay determined and work hards there will be days u would feel like giving up just take a day off and when u know there are challenges throughout ur whole journey i guess its a sign that ur doing great and ur on the right way

I just act like an intj to the people i dont trust and when someone earns my trust and respect the sweet infp will come back out.

Infp is so content with their life. It's amazing trait for me, intp/isfj. I never really content with myself. Yeah, i could really see that. Fi dominant is amazing. Well, it's still hard to live with them though, too much sensitivity. Ahhh. It's dillematic.
