Oh crap, i thought i had to cancel my 2026 trip but since Singapore is alrezdy hot and humid af. I rather perspire to death in Japan than Singapore 😂
I mean good video I guess, it doesn't matter for people with kids. It's not like it matters when we'd like to come to Japan, we have no choice but to come in the summer. Thanks though.
I live in QLD Australia so the heat should be fine I use to put insulation in roofs do that on a day that is 38c or 100f plus then make it a black roof low pitch the roof cavity can exceed 60c or 140f if you take a phone up there it will turn off in less then 5 minuets from to much heat on the plus side when you climb out 40c or 104f feels like AC
Here right now .. June .. the weather very good 👍🏻
All 5 sections is just normal to our daily living in a third world country. See you in July Japan
Hello, So i went for my 2nd trip to Japan this year and stayed in Shinjuku Tokyo. I exchanged my Euro's at the shops behind Shinjuku Station. The rates were in my opinion good and they dont charge a fee. I remember hearing about Travelex, but i could not find the shop in Shinjuku. I came across these shops (behind the station) by accident and decided (after looking for the best rate) to exchange there. Do you recommend these shops behin Shinjuku Station or do you recommend others ? (I go back in March 2025) Thank You.
There are many stores in Shinjuku with poor rates, so it would be dangerous to exchange at a store you find by chance. As I mentioned in the video, I recommend World Currency Shop.
@@ONOinJapan I remember trying to look for this shop (World Currency Shop) in Shinjuku, but when searching on Google Maps and i found "World Currency Shop Shinjuku Nishiguchi", but when i got there, i found no shop there... So i ended up going to smaller shops. Now i read that maybe the shop was underground, it is a little confusing for 1st timers 😅. Do you know this shop or another one in Shinjuku i could try ? Thank You 🙏
Going to japan any month is still good. Because japan is modern and easy to navigate
I used to think that owning a luxury bag was an unattainable dream, until *luxdups* told me that this dream is actually very close. The sense of fashion comes not only from the brand, but also from personal matching and attitude.
Is september gets cooler?
September is still hot😰 October will be much cooler.
what is the best month to see the maple in osaka ?
I think the best time to see the autumn leaves is from October to November.
My God, these are reconmendations from a baby.
I am not used to that heat but those months are the only ones I have some free days from my job so I cannot choose.
Funny how it's the worst time to visit yet tourist spots are at peak capacities.
Japan is always crowded😂😂😂
@@ONOinJapan Only in the major cities.
Here right now, the weather has been stunningly good. Glad I came in June.
I don't think there's any difference in these years as the currency rate is so attractive for foreigners to come to Japan to travelling, shopping and eating all year round...🤣🤣
Thank you
Thank you for the information. We will travel to Japan in July this year and we’re from California, USA. In Summer, sometimes it’s about 95 degree so we hope that the weather in Japan won’t scare us😅
Watching from Singapore
Thanks for watching!! I would love to go to Singapore🇸🇬
Molesto.forgipeople.not.gojapan..
Its summer and there is heat exhaustion ☀️
Tokyo is really hot in summer. While here in tohoku its still really cold in June, I think August or end of july where summer really does occur here. But yeah its really rainy.
I don’t miss a day a week *luxdups* This show
Beat the winter rain! Go in Aug! Everyone leaves town and you will have fun.
Fuji Yama is open to public only July and August... 😊😊😊
Good info. Not only Shibuya Station, Shinjuku station also like a maze too. When I travelled to Tokyo in April, I always walk from Shinjuku station to the hotel on the street instead of the walking underground; otherwise, I got lost. I agree that travelers must have cash. I think it depends on how long are you going to stay, but I think you should bring more than $10,000.00 per day, and you should have more $1,000 yen as not every machine accept $2,000 or $5,000 yen. I also brought one to two bags for storing garbage during the day. It was very difficult to find a garbage bin while I was in Tokyo...
I too find the lack of garbage bins in Japan very inconvenient.
Hello can you explain how to use salt and can I use it to the baby
I don't have a baby, so I can't say for sure, but I think you should do some research.
I am thinking of visiting next june, because thant's the most convenient time for me, but now im a little scared I'll have a bad time. The temperature is pretty standard for summer where i'm from, but the humidity is out of this world, I was in osaka last october and for a day we got a taste of that humidity, and it was intense.
Thank you for your good information.
stop going to japan 😂
85 Fahrenheit, that’s nothing. Try living in Australia during the summer it can go over 113 Fahrenheit 😅
Google says 85°F is 29-30°C, which is not a problem for me as I comfortably sleep at 28°C almost the whole year. And I don't consider it hot until it is higher than 35°C. So, heat in Japan is not a problem for me. If it is the same as in Thailand (with humidity), I can bear it. However, I didn't know about the typhoon season. Thank you for sharing that.
I made a mistake because Celsius is commonly used in Japan. In reality, summer temperatures are much higher.
Planning to go end of June. Hoping weather will be fine. Matane!
He sounds like Chinese national living in Japan. Ying, yong, ong sounds. And he doesn’t have typical Japanese accent. May be Chinese national pretending to be Japanese?? Lots Chinese live in Japan.
and they are saying japanese are honest? 😂🤣
🫢
does it still rain alot in mid july in tokyo and osaka?
It does not rain every day, but when typhoons come, there are days of heavy rain☔️
Very helpful video thanks
Dear Mr. Ono. I appreciate your video. However, I must politely disagree with some of your assertions. Having lived in Japan for eight years, I spent many a summer in the Kansai region. Yes it was hot, yes I experienced a few typhoons (nothing too serious, thank god), tourist spots are always crowded (especially during New Year's -- Winter -- and GW (Golden Week) in May -- Spring. One of the things that helped with mosquitoes were the "kikka senko", or, pyrethrum mosquito coils that, when burning, produce an incense that did a fairly good job repelling the bugs. If you visit cities, they will be noisy most of the year. Indeed, the two best seasons to visit Japan IMHO are the Spring and Fall. But summer isn't too bad if you prepare, and your video explains this. Last year, I had the opportunity to visit during the summer, and had one of the most amazing trips/experiences. Not perfect by any stretch, but my six weeks were one of the most memorable ever (Recommendations: Go to Tohoku region, north of Tokyo. Aomori, Akita, Sendai....just beautiful).
Thanks 😊
I love the heat and I only travel to Japan durning June and July 😆
Great tips
Thanks for watching!!! It's very encouraging!!!
@@ONOinJapan you are doing great. I'll keep watching if you keep producing. Thank you
Thank you!
Im visiting Japan in October 2024. And these kind of tips are very useful for me. I’ll definitely keep my eyes open, and not falling in traps. Thanks for the video!
Thank alot you shared many of tips Ono, we plan to visit Japan in July, may I ask where more easily to exchange 10.000 yen to small notes and coins. Thanks
Thank you for your comment! In Japan, there are few places where you can exchange money for coins, so it is common to buy goods at convenience stores and break bills😂
This video reminds me to be careful even in a very safe country like Japan. Thank you.
First time we went, it was late August. Now, we had traveled quite a few times to Singapore, Bangkok and Siem Reap for Angkor Wat. And I visited a relative in the army stationed at Fort Polk, LA in mid-summer, so we knew humidity. Osaka during the time we went in late August was the worst I’ve ever felt in terms of humidity. It just saps the strength right out of you.
We bought tix for July. Hopefully there aren't any typhoons on this visit. We miss Oki so much but couldn't take them during the school year. My favorite month in Japan is Oct when the leaves are changing color and sweet potato is in season. Thanks for the video.
My wife is Japanese, and she refuses to visit Japan during the hot months. (June - September) I don't mind so much, but she gets MEAN when it's humid, so we don't go then. October and March are probably the most beautiful months for most of Japan ... best times to visit.
I am from Canada and I can't handle the temperatures in Japan during the summer season. May and November are my favorite months to visit. You are spot on about where to stay in Tokyo. On my first trip, I stayed at APA Kabukicho and if I didn't bring earplugs with me, I wouldn't be able to sleep at night.
Thanks for the tips.
Early June weather still cool, temperature range from 15 deg to 25deg in cities and mountainous region still having cold morning and night, lowest around 6 deg, e.g Kamikochi. Get a sweater!
