Best "of mana" game I've seen

I played Trials of Mana to its every bit even the No Future Difficulty which was pretty darn difficult in certain sections of the game. I truly loved the nostalgic retro kind of feel it gave and im more or less happy that Visions of Mana keeps the feeling but for some reason, something feels missing. Maybe because i feel some parts of the story feel like they're dragging on a little longer than they should. Maybe because its linearity feels more straight lined than Trials was where we could go on a little bit different routes story-wise with it's characters. Also doesnt help that Netease fucking shut the studio down so now there's basically no chance for future updates or DLC. I totally agree Trials of Mana should've deserved better.

Best review iv seen for visions of mana you made me want to play it well i wanted to but i mite pull the trigger now that i Watched this last one i played was trials years ago never beat it as a kid cuz i didint understand the language lol that was before it was localised got near the end thou and i to am not a furry fan gross people

I do agree with the animation speed could be better but honestly I enjoyed watching this rag-tag bunch of human fuck ups become a great team and the best of humanity.

Fun fact about the grappling hook, you can get mods to enhance it like longer reach but longer cooldown, three charges but shorter reach, and mid air grappling but a single charge. 😉

The First Descendant: Booba, Guns, Loot

Already have over a hundred hours in the game and ive gotta put it down for a while, ive had to restart 3 times and have made it to the end game each time. Never finished the game becasue my vocation is bugged and so is my main story, npcs wont spawn. All could be prevented with a proper save system but no. The game has been nothing but a waste of my time and energy, i really tried to have fun, i REALLY did. But with game breaking bugs that brick my playthough for now the third time, having to literally restart from the start...so yeah im done until things maybe get better. If not then what a waste of money, could just go play the first one and have a better time

It's aiight. I'd rather sink my time into other games. Like Helldivers 2. Or RDR2. Again.

I never looked up to Adam Cesspool, like at all. I always found him to be the most vain, vapid, narcissistic, stuck-up, pig-headed, and just overall disingenuous excuse for your average racist anime hater this side of Phil Gayfish. Adam was never really a gamer, just your typical stuck-up urinalist with a superiority complex and a deep seeded hatred of the medium he "reviews" and his "comedy skits" are just him trying WAY TOO HARD to be the next Howard Stern when Howard Stern himself was quite overrated (I prefer Opie & Anthony btw).

I wanted this game to be good, but good fucking CHRIST the localization shit the bed and ruined a potentially great JRPG. Oh well, at least I still got Legend of Heroes Trails through Daybreak.

I like the Soulsborne genre, particularly since it kinda reminds people that games are supposed to be games first and essay topics on man's inhumanity to man DEAD FUCKING LAST. Still, understand your point. Soulsborne has been getting rather stale as of late (and that's coming from a big From Soft fanboy like myself).

Its gameplay is boring as all fuck, it's "storytelling" (if you could even call it that) makes me long for the sweet release of death (and I haven't even played it too, so you know it's bad), and it also helps me that I never played the first one, so I ain't missing out on much. And to the "people" who keep lauding this absolute shit heap as the apex of storytelling and world-building, allow me to regale upon y'all some far and away superior examples...... -Mass Effect -Panzer Dragoon series -Nier Replicant/Nier Automata -Sin & Punishment -The Xeno series (yes, that includes Xenogears, Xenosaga, AND Xenoblade)

Much as the homoerotic subplot and reddit tier writing irks me, the game is still damn good throwback to classic game design philosophy and late 80s/early 90s cyberpunk anime ala Tekkaman Blade and Ghost in the Shell.
