Barn door shenanigans
We thought building the barn door inside was a good idea because the surface was flat ... we didn't count on it being so dang heavy!

@ 1.33 HE ASK GIRL TO HOLD LEVEL OR PLUMB . TECHNICALLY IS THERE A DIFFERECE .?? OK I UNDERSTAND WHAT HE MEANS . BUT AS A SURVEYOR . JUST THINKING .😊😊 😊😊😊
Mine are steel
why do women get distracted?
She has the attention span of a cute little puppy.
It is called a pitless adapter because prior to its adoption, people would dig a pit around their well and cut off the casing. below ground, By putting a dog house over it, they could prevent freezing of the outgoing plumbing.
I have a question sir...can i use the pitless adaptor in a PVC pipe?because her in phillipines..we always use pvc pipe for deep wheel
old wells had 4 foot pits to allow for frost protection. they would always be open for servicing. a pit-less adapter is so that the PIT can be filled in to prevent contamination. it also keeps people from falling into an open pit.
I learned nothing a huge waste of time
My neighbor moved the medal marker, then had his property surveyed. I tried to get the surveyed that he used to come back out, something always turns up at the last minute, where do I start. I lost about two acres.
don't people know the difference between level and plumb?
NEVER NEVER NEVER ask a woman to do a mans job! To them; everything is relative to peckers!
This guy probably worked for a surveying firm as a rodman for about a week before he probably got fired. So many things incorrect with this my personal favorite is the cap number corresponds with the plat. My advise as a surveyor of 25 years this is NOT a DIY project. And just my opinion if you think a surveyor is expensive just remember a bad surveyor will cost more in the long run!
Jimmy Page did not use a laser level. But he always knew when he was too high.
I wanna know how all these cute girls get stuck with guys that don't know plumb from level 😂
Umm I think you skipped a step
The pitless works great when it's hooked up to a pump.
This woman is very unprofessional and the f_cking wood pecker too !
Pitless just means you don't have to dig a pit to pull the pump or work on the system.
Junk
I don't know why people are bashing this guy. He clearly states that witness's are not monuments. So he likely knows enough to at least setup over a monument and hold line on another if he's just staking a point on line for a visual reference to his property and doesn't set actual monuments there's nothing wrong with that. Also, for all the surveyors commenting, how do you know he's not doing a stadia Survey? Before EDM, people did survey like this.
Only problem is your not connected to the well pump riser 🤔
What a joke. lol
WTF you don't "locate" property corners with a level rod. LOL. What are you even trying to do?
OMG........Your helper, she is so darn adorable. A little distracted by the woodpecker.....lol.
I'm sure she has seen a lot of woodpeckers in her time.
That would have been a blast!!! Enjoy it.
Thank you for sharing, now I know what to do! Is that lift rental you used?
Surveyors can't survey ,bankers can't count,bakers can't bake

Want one
Tractor lol. That's a riding lawn mower.
surveying is a great profession. it requires care and principles must be obeyed.
I know you have probably figured this out by now, but never crank on a diesel engine like that if it has glow plugs, which that engine does. It's not a gas engine. Turn the key until you see the glow plug light turn on on the dash and hold it there for five seconds. If you don't and you crank on it it WILL destroy the engine over time. It will last you so much longer if you take the five to thirty seconds to warm up the glow plugs. That being said, enjoy that machine. I had a BX2230 that lasted me for a good 14 years before I sold it to purchase a B2301. It was still going strong, too. Only time that engine ever failed to start was when it had sat outside over night and it was three below. Take care.
thank you, very helpfull
Congrats!....some day i will have myself one too.
was the tractor a good investment?
I just bought a new BX23S yesterday, can't wait to get home to the 3 acres and straight to work!
congratulations on your tractor I know that feel
In areas that freeze, you would have to bury the well head to keep it from freezing. With a pitelss adapter this is not necessary.
That's not true, even if it was a true artesian with the water free flowing over the top it still wouldn't freeze due to 60° ground water running over the top and even if it did freeze let's say it would only freeze maybe 5-6ft below ground level because the dirt keeps the rest of the well insulated. All that matters is that the pitless is below the 5ft deep frost line
Dude your going to get yourself hurt or killed fun video but be careful them trees are nothing to play with
Totally great day for you guys !!!!!! Kubota rocks
I wonder if she has blond roots
attention span of a nat
...but so cute!
The # on the cap is the surveyors RPLS #. Basically its their license #.
The well sitting down in it, or the pump?
Nice tractor
Great job you two! how are things nowadays? I see there are no videos in the past 5 years!! I think of my wife and I when seeing you two working the land! We are just a few years behind :D
can't get easier self leveling laser and a smart accessory love it
One of the first things you learn while surveying is to never grab the bottom end of a level rod with your bare hands. Surveyors will understand. And that chick could be my rodman anytime.
Yep! That's the 'shitty' end of the rod lol!! Same with tripods! Always grab the head... not the feet.
bassbone52 the shit stick well that's what I call it
Make that rodperson, bassbone.
Helped me a lot!!
Wow that is great for project precision alignments.
Great video....thanks. One question - when you back filled over your water line did you bed and cover the line in sand or use and other measures to ensure that the water line is not damaged. Cheers, R1514
