Helpful hint: preheat it a little longer before you start it. In cold weather, you want to preheat for about 20 seconds, and in warm weather, preheat for about 10 seconds. If it's really hot, you should only need to preheat for about 6 seconds. This helps to heat up the glow plugs. If they are warm enough, the starter won't have to work so hard to get the tractor going. Once you turn the key to ignition, it should only take about as long as your truck does to start. Enjoy your new Kubota!
I know you have probably figured this out by now, but never crank on a diesel engine like that if it has glow plugs, which that engine does. It's not a gas engine. Turn the key until you see the glow plug light turn on on the dash and hold it there for five seconds. If you don't and you crank on it it WILL destroy the engine over time. It will last you so much longer if you take the five to thirty seconds to warm up the glow plugs. That being said, enjoy that machine. I had a BX2230 that lasted me for a good 14 years before I sold it to purchase a B2301. It was still going strong, too. Only time that engine ever failed to start was when it had sat outside over night and it was three below. Take care.
