Nice explain. But, when I connect my speaker there is no sound, even not when I change the cables from + and -. My speaker has 4 connections on it (2 plus 2 minus) but I think that is not the problem. The old speaker I removed worked, so what I’m doing wrong 😂

Although this is considered a bodge job, I followed these steps and it worked perfectly. Took me 10 minutes per speaker to swap. FairPlay

Stupid question but is it recommended to check and "Top Off" gear oil just like you would the engine oil?

What size bit did you use to drill the holes? Were those the screws that came with speakers or you purchased diff ones?

I did my Sportage at the weekend using a similar technique. I soldered the wires onto the existing tabes. The Infinitys sound excellent!

Thank you for the clear video. Two additions: 1) it is not necessary to remove the soft leather cover around the gearstick. There is sufficient space to manoeuvre so you can leave it attached. 2) Pay attention when putting it back together. The middle part with the radio goes underneath the large middle bottom part and then you can put the 2 screws back in. So first put the radio block in place and then put the large bottom cover on top. Took me approx 1 hour. Very easy to do. Saved me approx 400 euro.

Thanks Rob, your video helped a lot. It took me more like two hours, but I got there! My car had one additional screw holding the glove compartment lower right side behind the lid hinge. I also disconected the glove box hose as it's only a push fit and I needed the access. Thanks 👌🏻

Is echt een rotflesje om bij te vullen op een gy6 blok gezien de blokkade van de carterpan. :) Als je de scooter op ze kant houdt gaat er veel meer in dan 0.12L. Wat overigens niet de bedoeling is. Morgen weer even aftappen en een nieuw 110ML flesjes halen en wel deze tut goed volgen. Enige idee of t GY6 blok trouwens een overloop heeft op de transmissie? Vroeger tweetakt scooter zeek t gewoon achter t blok bij een gaatje eruit als je teveel gebruikte. :)

Great article. I just replaced one and without this video I wouldnt even start. But. I have some improements to add :-). First, there is a screw you did not mention at the right/bottom side of the gloves compartment. It must also be unscrewed. Second,the solder work of the 'resistor' is very poor even to Renault standard. I read about guys who has to replace it more than once. Actually you can repair it and I promise you it would last longer than you. How? Just re-solder the 5 visible foots and spray contact cleaning fluid or even WD40 in the connector. Ziet er goed uit! Zelf beef ik nogal (essentiële tremor) en dat is erg lastig knutselen, dus mocht er iemand zijn die hem voor mij kan vervangen dan hoor ik graag wat de kosten zijn! (Renault dealer hoeft niet te reageren ;-)

It's always smart to unplugg the fill plug 1st before drainplug If for some reason the fill plug don't come out you still have oil in the transmission.

Hoi Rob zag je de ventilator ook zitten ? Kan die ook zo vervangen worden ? Mijn aanjager doet niks bij Renault 65 onderzoekskosten en ze zeggen dat het kachel huis vervangen moet worden.

Kan ik 10 w30 gebruiken of is dat probleem
