Thank you very much for this awesome video. Our ice machine died on us last week, just ahead of our big Thanksgiving gathering this weekend. I ordered the new unit (which is what I hoped was needed to fix the problem) and I just followed the video step by step. It took me about 45 mins from start to finish and 2 hours afterwards I heard the first tray of ice fall which was music to my ears! It may seem a bit daunting to change this at first blush and seeing the 2 wiring harnesses included in the package is intimidating but it is pretty straight forward. Just pause the video after each step and do what it says and you've be back with ice in no time. Thank you so much for this amazing video.

I have a Bravo model of Maytag and it would spin out of balance. I just changed the suspension rods and that solved the problem for about 5 washes. Now it's out of balance again. I did the re-calibration and the Spin light stayed on and blinking. Any advice?

This was video an awesome. Changed out the motor in under an hour and it tests like new. All the other videos want you to pull the dishwasher out and turn it on its back. Mine install is a bit tight to get in and out so not having to remove it from the cabinet was the bomb.

Awesome vid and super clear. Had to replace the basket hub again after about a year, but didn't know to calibrate it that first time when I removed too many items. This time I noticed the gear coming up into the tub was so rusted, most of the teeth were worn badly. Replaced the gear case and basket hub. Read in the hidden service book it should be calibrated, but couldn't get it to work. Watched this video and did exactly what he did, even though my main dial didn't have all the same names around the dial. Took me a few times, but finally got the turns done in the "less than 6 seconds" required by Maytag. Followed advice on video and the Bravos model did about a minute of calibration. First 3 loads had a high pitched squeal going into spin mode, but I figured the calibration would take care of that. Runs perfect. Also for those that don't know, the "service book" is taped to the inside of the washer, between the tub and front wall inside of a plastic envelope. Tells you all the info you need to read repair codes and a bunch of other advanced mumbo jumbo I didn't understand.

Why on earth would you tell people to disassemble the entire machine when you can simply remove the back cover to replace the belt tightener!!

Thanks for this video. Very helpful. Kitchen Aid is made by Whirlpool. I have a WP GI15NDXZB1 which has nearly the same compressor, coil, fan system arrangement. My fan was getting 120v and not turning. My unit is a 15” width and the video is the wider 18” model. No fun being smaller. Anyway, the key is the Remove the 4 screws that hold the base on and tilting it so you have access. Thanks for that tip! I found it was easiest to lift the black plastic cage and slide the fan under and out at the bottom. It. Was. Still. Not. Easy. The fan gets hooked and its hard to get it free.

I have Asko D5436 dishwasher. It gave f12 error couple times. I took out its fuses and put it back after touching with a screwdriver. Now, it is not giving any error but it is not taking any water. What do you think the problem could be? Should I replace PCB or water inlet valve? Thanks in advance

I'm having trouble getting the kickplate off. The screws are out, but it won't budge! I need to know specifically which direction to push or pull before I end up breaking it. I'm searching online but I can't find any data on this washer.

Can you get to the pump from the bottom? It almost seems like less work to pull the unit and lay it on it's side. Usually that just takes 2 screws.

I have question. I've done 2 dual evap compressor replacement. And I'm always getting negative readings when freon installed. Like it's showing vacuumed reading, but I've learned that's blocked sealed system. This only on 3 valve dual evaporator. Can give me some advice

Instead of paying $160 for a service call, then $20 for every six minutes of labor ($200/hour), and a $200 drain pump (that was out of stock anyway), I found a drain pump online for $55 and watched this video and installed it myself. Now our 15-year-old washing machine works again! Thanks!

Never in my experience as a union 17 yr medical gas installer have I used any type of Flux when brazing... Flux is for soldering. Brazing is a much higher temperature. Tell me why you did?

I have the same machine as your.......I cannot find the error code list....the only one I can find is for those with the electronic display......where can I find a list of codes that displays what the error is based on the number of blinks

Reattaching the belt was a problem as I couldn't see inside the machine when I took it off. User @user-tx9zw4ld9x included a video in their comment that resolved that puzzle for me. See at 10:04 of this video: ua-cam.com/video/T2hH97QWif4/v-deo.html My one other problem is that one of the two tabs on the control panel that get screws through them snapped off! I have glued it together. I hope it holds and I can complete the reassembly. I was able to start the dryer so I know that everything is connected so far.
