Captain Scarlet was highly anticipated in Japan but it was nowhere as popular as Thunderbirds. I think this had to do with the story, which was about aliens turning into terrorists after earthlings mistakenly attack them. Not sure why they're angry since they can regenerate instantly. No harm done, right?

I remember the Unitron episode. It was an advance warning about developing self-driving vehicles.

The Spectrum Cloud Base looks so narrow shown from the standard side angle, but when it's shown from a different angle, it's quite wide and almost looks like a pool table. Just an observation.

Loved this show as a kid (1960s). I think it was the best one out of all their marionette shows. Violent and dark, and if you took these same stories and filmed it with live actors it would as good as anything at the time.

In 1967 , The United states was at the Peak of its Industrial power. Jet Fighters, Apollo Rockets, Moon Shots. Every part of that 3, Million custom part rocket was made in America. Everyone had a future in America building or selling or just improving our Country in some way. The Future looked Real Bright. This was before the Gas price wars, right in the middle of American Muscle Cars, as close as your Car Dealer. It was an Amazing time, I wish I could go back to 1968 and live there forever.
