0:44 Yes both will say that, but if you look at the old church and compare theological and doctrinal differences you will see that there are none between Eastern Orthodoxy and the old church. *Roman* Catholicism very often contradicts itself and is nowhere near like the church 2000 yeara ago. I dont even know how they can claim that with confidence
Loved it. Another please!
They could be related to the Frisians. In Frisia there is artwork in a chapel from the crusader period of them fighting barefoot as the frisians lived on the marshy beaches of the north Netherlands aka Frisia
Im lvl 42 now never played fallout didnt kmow anything about it. Im enjoying it very much.
Jesus says he is the great I am in John 13:19 "I am telling you this now so you believe that I am who I am." And Matthew 12:8, Mark 2:28, and Luke 6:5 which all say plainly "For the Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath." When I see Jesus' great I am and his very obvious deity claims ignored it really strikes a nerve. Hopefully you can share Jesus' more rare but still extremely obvious deistic claims in verses that guys like Cliffe Knechtle will ignore. PLEASE SHARE THESE
My Head cannon is that they are irish tbh because a lot if the descriptions of them and their role in the crusade lines uo with what the annals of Ulster purport about Irish participation
What is that painting of the Templar’s crossing that chasm around 16:20
This is a bible one more than cristian one or theology one you should probably specify.

@@Maxdamageplus wish he did some research before making that statement
@@Maxdamageplus Yeah it's not true. It's a lie told by christian apologists.
Oo noice
I think the reason why NathanH83 is there, is because he is known for being a huge Christian apologetic, and usually has bad faith arguments against scientific theories (such as evolution), and atheist reasoning. He also has a sketchy past, if i remember correctly.

The water explanation of the trinity is a heresy called modalism. Water can exist in three forms, but not at the same time. This implies that God exists in different modes at different times. In fact, any illustration of the Trinity falls short and is heresy. The correct explanation is that God exists as one essence in three persons, separate and unique yet fully combined. The term is perichoresis. The safest way to think about the Trinity is that it is a relationship we can never truly understand, but we can truly know.
5:59 THATS MODALISM PATRICK

Great video! About the polytheism entry, I think what it's trying to say is the scholarly theory of how Judaism was initially monolatrious; i.e. the ancient Israelites worshipped only one God, but believed there existed other lesser gods belonging to other nations. There are a number of passages that seem to imply this. To give the two examples I remember (of the top of my head, so don't take this as at all authoritative): - in the Hebrew text of Genesis, God is sometimes referred to as "Elohim", which is the plural form of "El", the word for god - when Moses and Aaron confront Pharaoh, Aaron's staff turns into a snake, but so do the two staffs of the Egyptian priests, suggesting that their gods are also at work there (the Aaron snake devours the Egyptian snakes, so the emphasis is placed on how Yahweh is more powerful than the Egyptian gods, and not necessarily on the fact that He's the only God) Of course, there are counter-arguments to this theory. With regards to the two examples above, the plural "Elohim" could've just been a more respectful honorific title, and the Egyptian priests could've been using some illusory tricks. The other thing that the iceberg entry might be trying to say is that (from what I recall) some Protestants criticize Catholics for their veneration of the Virgin Mary and the saints, which to those Protestants might appear as bordering on worship of other deities idk guy should've done a better job clarifying his iceberg entries
I am not of Christian Faith but I love this video man keep it up Knowledge must Prevail ❤❤
@18:46 dang that sounds so interesting, can’t wait to reach season 25 of the Bible

really clear and fair informative video. as a catholic, i approve
Religion is fascinating but religious people are insufferable
Christianity is not entirely just about Jesus's divinity.
Christianity is about the belief that Jesus came down from heaven that he is God and that he died for our sins so that we can live eternally in heaven. It is about believing that God loves us so much that he sent his only son that whoever believes in him will not perish, but have eternal life.
@Paoaknsn its about many beliefs that is a part of it. Religion is belief
@Paoaknsn haha sort of yeah, good. I like how you ahve your own perspective, thats kind of healthy. Good for you. Better to learn from the authority on the matter though, best is orthodox or catholic.
@@krisverrico0910 Christianity goes beyond religion. True Christianity is developing a relationship with Jesus Christ our God who died on the cross for us.
@@krisverrico0910 yeah I didn’t mean that we shouldn’t follow a church, I’m catholic and love the catholic and Orthodox Church, I just mean that getting to know Christ is the most important thing
The one thing they all have in common is common. God is the source of consciousness
No. This is not right. Abrahmic religions were created after the axial age based on the older stories of mankind. They are not stories about God but non-human entities. They are called with different names in different cultures like elohim in the Bible, theoi in greece, devas in india, ahura in persia ect eventually when the Jews made the Bible they created monolatry based in YHWH one of the elohim and the qadosh of Israel then some Christian groups copied the Jews and made Christianity we have today. The idea of a transcendent being is not present in the Bible.
I feel like in tier 5 there should be some sort of mention how nearly everybody will say: "Jesus Christ" in response to something bad or surprising happening even if they don't believe in Christ. Like some sort of religious fabric that has a stranglehold over people.
🤢Disgusting
@6:00 Heresy of Modalism
Clover is also Heresy of Partialism
There is more to be discussed in terms of Christianity being polytheistic. Sure only Adonai is the only god worshipped, but there is a clear belief in other gods (belief but not worship) by the authors of at least the Old Testament. If we look at kings 2 chapter 3, it is clear that the king of the moabites sacrificed his first born son to his god in order to defeat the Israelites in battle. The sacrifice works and so it’s clear that the god of the moabites intervened and helped them.
This is a good video but you often do surface level reaearch and discount things that oppose your obviously prostentant perspective
I’m not a Protestant
Come to hear a christian iceberg Swarmed by cult members screaming, "jesus is king". Damn, what century is this ??
Chronically online Christian’s are a different breed
@UnKnown-so5wk That seems true. I know plenty of Christians in real life and for 80% of them I've never seen or heard them talk the way these online ones do. But it's hard to tell what lurks under the hood of anyone and what they'll say when given a chance to hide behind anonymity.
@@FoursWithin that’s the majority of it. Anonymity. These people don’t recognize that when you act a certain way online it leaches into your real life in ways you can’t predict, making you hostile and cruel and insensitive. I know that this is super cliche but I seriously, honestly, truly believe that social media will be at least partially responsible for bringing about the end of the world
@UnKnown-so5wk Yeah, as a kid I recall me and friends fantasizing how awesome it would be to read peoples minds. But when social media became the thing and made so many minds transparent I realized how grateful that as a child I wasn't granted that superpower.
@@FoursWithin the god of this system of things is at work all the time to subvert the holy to darkness. He knows his time is near, so he has utilized these new technologies to further corrupt mankind until his time for destruction comes
