How wrestlers should approach strength and conditioning in the gym.
Many wrestlers tend to prioritize conditioning over strength. My take is to do both. Strength train while in the gym and conditioning from practices.

The Deadlift
Переглядів 1013 роки тому
Here’s how to do a conventional barbell deadlift: Step up to and under a barbell with your feet angled slightly outward, at hip-width apart. Bend over and grip the barbell with both hands at shoulder width. Bend your knees until the bar almost touches your shins. With a neutral spine, flex your butt and brace your stomach. Pick the bar up off the ground (It helps to think “press DOWN into the f...
The Squat
Переглядів 693 роки тому
Squatting is a fundamental human movement pattern that involves nearly every muscle in the body. It’s handy for picking stuff off the floor, going to the bathroom, and just hanging out on a traffic cone. Thanks to exercise science, data show that squats are excellent for building strength, power and mobility. Full squats can help counteract many of the chronic musculo-skeletal problems we face ...
PSA Session Bench Press
Переглядів 1133 роки тому
Fundamentals of the Bench Press 1. Grab the bar shoulder width to just outside. Close grip and wide grip are good exercises to use in addition to a standard bench press, but shoulder width to just outside will put you in a strong position. This position will help to protect your shoulders, pecs, and bicep tendons. 2. Squeeze the bar as tight as you can. 3. Position your eyes just underneath the...

However, as athletes we push our bodies to peak performance, so we need proper supplementation in order to perform at peak performance. Vitamins and supplements can be a safe way for athletes to try to improve their performance. Be sur...

This might cost you some business, but it's the gods honest truth. Some of these personal trainers charging these poor parents 60-100 an hour with bs promises. There's no one work out or secret drill to turn little urkle into usain bolt 2.0 overnight.

I'm a defender💪🏽 a Right Back,so I need pace. And I'll try to reduce my bodyfat percentage. I bulked up a little(fats included). I'll also work my core and albs more
