I know that the lathe will work, but saw nothing that impressed me except the obvious skill of the planer operator. I saw nothing that would ensure that the headstock spindle would end up parallel to the lathe ways in either plane. As for quality, casting iron from scrap metal makes for inconsistent quality material which is likely to be fairly soft, and wear quickly. In addition, the castings were made without having deep risers to pour the metal and vent the pour, resulting in castings likely to contain porous areas.

Шлифовка призм болгаркой -- это, конечно, топ! :D Вообще, конечно, если аккуратно подойти, из этой чугуняки можно сделать сносный токарник. Но как минимум, отливки должны полгодика висеть отдыхать, а так скорей всего там всё гнутым винтом становится через несколько месяцев после выхода продукции из "цеха".

Даже на краску проверяют 😅интересно только куда у них передняя бабка смотрит?)

Ну и как конусность передней бабки убирается? Кувалдой?! Чугун станины сырой, серый не отбеленный! Самое обидное что эти хоть на коленке станки делают, а в России целые станкостроительные заводы с кучей специалистов похерены.

Сталлелитейное производство-затратное. Лучше купить готовое изделие. Из чего там сплавлено-нам не интнресно качество. Геометрия, термообработка направляющих-нах, нам на этих станках не работать. Менеджер по продажам.

Cada país trabaja con las herramientas q pueden, según sea sus economía y su forma de vida, si no pueden mejorar su tecnología ellos no tienen la culpa, vastante hacen q logran reparar sus máquinas y consiguen q funcionen. Aquí en España hace tiempo también se trabajó así, y se reparaba todo y aquí todo funcionaba y había buenos profesionales, ahora q hay,,,,,, donde están las escuelas de artes y oficios q salían buenos profesionales, dónde.

This lathe could be better manufactured with just these tools, but these people aren't even trying to change the technology. It is sad. And the ubiquitous sand in every workshop indicates that this will not change too fast.

Most comments are about how poor quality these parts are yet they seem to be making them quickly and in large numbers. I would bet these machines never leave Pakistan and their sole purpose is the production of military arms.
