Funny observation with the Jesmon list, it looks like a completely pre-BT13 list. There aren't any BT13 Huckmons, BaoHucks and SaviorHucks or even teching Magna X also 1 BT6 Savior along with the rest of the list seems like pre-unrestricted ratios. Which makes this list such a shocker for me! 😂

Something super interesting is how machinedramon has adapted to become this crazy rush deck. Most decks can remove machinedramon so you don’t play for the wall strategy anymore, just chipping with ukkomon and slamming down a machinedramon every turn and rushing with attack of the heavy to clear boards. I completely cut x antibody chaos and haven’t missed it

I’ve started testing 8 ukkomon in machinedramon when I saw this list and my god does it solve a lot of problems the deck has. It’s not perfect but it works very well.

hey risu , regarding my imperial deck it was only focusing on swinging rather than the control version of it as i believe this deck was always aggressive and if u play it other way it fall behind, partition is a cool effect however as how the meta is going now all you need sometimes is extra swing or extra memory that this deck provide to win, it was a very challenging tournment as the players were very talented, im glad that i got the first place 👻

6th place Armor rush player here: Digiolving by effect definitely traumatized me and is one of the reason why i cut the training for the memboosts

Chess clocks are hard to do unless its on a digital client. You cant just tick the turn players timer down because when opponents effects trigger/Aces that's when the timer should switch to the opponents side, doing that can cause a lot of confusion when a lot of effects are happening back and forth and I it think would lead to frustration if its not automated.

Numemon is clearly bdif. I do think magna x is gate keeping the format. Now for numemon I think the Ukko speed helps a lot, but the monzaemon x dp drain and clearing ability is what makes the deck shine. Something I think people are forgetting in the count of how many bodies you need is that a second stack can go into a monzae x. Nume to rb1 monzae is 3m and -3k dp. If you have a rookie out from raising and go to a monzae x and play a digimon that’s -6k dp. So -9k dp. Then if you evo your lv 4 into a rb1 monzae that’s now -12k. To further thst if you go to monzae x and play a body that another -8k for a -20k dp drain.

So I was at this event. The main reason nume did the best was because magnax. Think of a nightclub named top18, magnax is the bouncer and only let's numemons through. All the other decks either payed the bouncer or intimidated him to get in and everyone else is locked out. If didn't brick heavily in my second round I'd obliterate nume, but there was so much armor vaccine that just gatekeeps every other deck

Since nume is going nowhere in the next sets it's safe to assume that if will be restricted in some way or form. I don't think ukkomon are the culprits here. They're exceptionally good and offer a boost in speed, but from the top decks only nume exploits them and i think we'd need to see how they do after restrictinf something else. I think gere would be a good hit because it hurts consistency a lot, numeX or monzeaX would outright knee the deck. Something else I'm starting to think is that etemon and/or valky could also be a real issue.

Not wanting a generic, zero downside, low end card that fits into most decks gone, is pure cope. Also MagnaX is fine, just keep it out of 'yellow vax' at the least.

yeah there was a new TRM put out June 6 and this was the first event to put the new rules into place iirc. 3.4.2 in the doc states that we were required to play out the full swiss rounds and not until there was 1 undefeated left. -jorel

I want to agree with the promo ukko being more of a problem, but bt-16 is what allows nume to be hyper consistent in seeing the pieces it needs. I also think the rise in venus is to help in the mirror and a way to shutdown any agression.

Unfortunately with the mandatory round count. It is more likely a person with a tie can win if the last undefeated took a loss during the last round.

It looks like they played a "mandatory" 8 rounds, which might be why a player with a draw won. Otherwise, I would expect to see an x-0-1 in second. I'd be interested to know if they did a similar mandatory round count to the recent online regional. All speculation on my part.

phoenixmon is having good results here at my locals too, you don't need to build a stack but warp as much as you can, give rush as much as you can, and return stuff from your trash as much as you can, that way you can start snowballing giant birds like crazy for like no memory

Hot take: ukkomon is fine, Patamon might be an issue. Being able to get 4 memory of value for free is kinda nuts.

The pata suppose to be burst mode. Burst mode is bt13-33 patamon is bt14-33

Thing about the Numemon stuff is their top end (lv5+) is some of if not the most powerful in the game. Not only does it have access to the single best form of removal in Monzae X, it has access to Venus, which screws over a lot of decks, a Yellow lv6 digimon that evolves for effectively 1, and multiple ruin mode-ish effects. Blue flare, as an example of a deck that does the same thing with Ukkomon, does not serve that great of a meta threat due to being much, much more counterable. Numemon has tools for basically every matchup, and with Magnamon invalidating the existence of decks that would otherwise control Nume, the results show.

Love your videos and appreciate everything you are doing. However, I think you have to play more of these decks cause some of the reasonings you are giving are completely wrong. For example, you cannot use Awakening on RapidX into MagnaX as RapidX is not an armor form in trait, can only work from the lv4s. Cutemons are vs the training boosts. A lot of people decreased the lv5 ratios to go straight to magnaX using the option. The megalo spark I assume is mainly used with angewomon ace to place on a magnax bc as soone as it passes to their turn, the 6k from WOMON and 8k from SPARK will just delete it and if they used an ace, it would possibily pass back the turn before their Start of turn.
