Thanks for sharing! I was wondering where it was stuck. I got it out eventually. The one with the stud was easy, but the bold was just horrible! Took me 2 hours. In the end I shortened the 10mm socket to get some more space to move, but it won;t get back. Perhaps only the stud one... :-)

I have this type of engine in my Daihatsu Cuore/Mira L276. It made over 70.000km in 2 years, including very much high speed (high for a 3 banger) Autobahn driving in Germany. Fuel consumption is very low, sound is great and there's no end in sight! The Japanese know how to build engines. ❤

I pulled all the plastic trims from the edge of the wheel wells as there was tons of trapped, moist mud. Give it a good clean underneath and then used Lanoguard two years ago. Needs topping up this year.
