My life trying to get some atp points... 🎥🎾
Hi, I'm Cameron. I'm an aspiring professional tennis player and a coach at the Delgado & Lee Pro Tennis Academy. After having some problems with my heart in October 2022, I returned to playing tennis. While away from the sport I promised myself that when I could play again I would document my tennis journey and share everything I learn along the way.
I started off this channel posting coaching videos and my first competitions back to see if I could get back to my old level. And after just under a year, I decided I was ready to fully commit to chasing my dream. My dream is the same as many players, to get an ATP ranking and become a professional tennis player.
I am documenting my journey competing on the ITF Futures Circuit with my series Baseline To Pro: The Quest For ATP Points.

He’s been a been a national level player throughout his junior career and early adulthood. However, it’s only recently at the age of 24 he really started making moves internationally on the ITF circuit and at the end of 20...

Seems like any sport that requires running is not her cup of tea.
10/10 for golf. 👏🏻👏🏻
This was cool but it also saddens me that tennis isn't more popular.
Some great drills. Nice, Cameron!
Never, ever trust a golf enthusiast.
i mean if u cant understand tennis u can stick to golf for me
Good video, some of these responses are hilarious.
Great interview guys. I remember Liam Hignett playing some grade 3 events in Surrey and he was in draws that I was in! Great to see that he has really pushed on and is playing pro tennis now👊 I also think that Sean and Cam need to play some futures doubles in 2025 as well! Are ypu guys u for it?!😁
Doubles is bullshit only singles players should play on ATP they need the money and they earned their place if double players want to play they should be in singles ranking like everyone else
Have you got envy problems or something? Why would you say that ? Doubles is an exciting addition to the game, I bet Julian Cash would have something to comment on it
This guys just so good at this 👏 great work with the edit mate, looks so good 💪
Looking forward to the next one 👀
not sure if this will help but there is a japanese tennis youtuber called iori, perhaps you can see his forehand and see if you can steal whatever he is doing?
Is that Liam???
Yes he introduced him as such
Great video but could you split the acreen to show all 3 screens at the same time. That would be so much more pleasurable to watch. Again great video.

Love it lads, well done on the launch of the podcast!
Thanks mate - keep up the awesome work yourself :)
Hilarious 😂
Great video Cam - will definitely try some of those drills!
love your vids cam. try running beofre your sessions really helps improve your stamina

"Bring your hand to the ball slowly" 🔥🗣
I feel like this is really funny but I don't get it.
Any videos on how to move around the tennis couet? Fundamental footwork? I notice you stay in a wide strong base so well
Fascinating look at the mind of pro players.
Is this a joke?
Lorcan Cooling (U10 Performance Lead) shares his top tip for all tennis players.
Have been really struggling in Match Tie Breaks at the end of my matches do you have any tips to win more. I ever play to defensive and let my opponents hit easy winners or hit too many balls out due to trying to be aggressive but nerves get to me.
I think perhaps you could have followed in that first slice to the backhand ?
Could be a good idea if you both play double matches on the tour.
Neither you or that Sean guy are ever going to make it as ATP level singles tennis pro players in terms of career. You're both good amateur players at the upper county level but both of you are billion miles away from self sufficient ATP singles level.
tell me you have up on your childhood dreams, without telling me you gave up on your childhood dreams
@@alastairtheduke😂😂 I guess that’s all we need to hear 👏
Tough match, good playing against a good player. Loved your conversion with Sean, keep it up! As you guys discussed, just curious, when you trying to play aggressive do you feel like you are hitting it harder and ripping it harder, or stepping in more and holding the baseline to take time away, but with the same kind of shot pace? Was just curious because holding the baseline and having a more aggressive court position might help you gain confidence with the more aggressive mindset, but wouldn’t feel like you are swinging out of your shoes and increasing your overall shot pace :) Just a thought of mine, love watching your journey! Keep it up!!
I think it's more beneficially to attack with court positioning - I think by doing this you will naturally hit the ball a bit bigger. If you just try and hit bigger in general you will most likely make errors which is probably what happened for me here a bit. Thanks for the comment! :)
Great to watch your progress, have you thought about entering UTR and how about trial of a yonex to unlock some more power
Great videos I have to say , your voice overs and knowledge is really good
Thanks so much!
Ah didn't that online coach say to serve volley at 40-0 ? I watched it all and took notes
Mate, you were playing some high level tennis in your match and you were both hitting a high quality, aggressive ball and your serve was bigger as well! I just feel with your game it's,just confidence and belief. Be aggressive, play to big targets and look to dominate as many points as you can and the results will come. Fascinating call with Sean as well. And as a decent club player, I can resonate with everything you said. I'm an aggressive player but sometimes I doubt myself and play too passively and it costs me. I just try to dominate on my serve now i.e. serve + 1 and in the rallies, I'm looking for depth, taking the ball early and playing to big targets so to minimize errors. Tennis is a process so just have to choose how,you want to play and commit to it even though you might lose a few matches to begin with. Great collab with Sean as well. Loved it👍👊
Hey, thank you so much for the support! Great insight, a lot of this stuff applies at all levels of the game.
Next tourney we will end the losing streak!
This is facts - let's do it!
Great vid, great talking points. I think y'all got it figured out at the end there. Every match and every opponent is going to be different. You can either stick to your play style and beat some opponents while losing to others or you can try to have more variety and make changes during the match and try to beat more players, however you won't be as solid in a singluar play style. Pros and cons to both.
Thanks! Great insights :)
Love your content mate. Reckon I’d take you though!
Only one way to find out! 🤣
@ awesome mate I’ll be in your neck of the woods in the summer get me on your channel! 🎾
How long does it take you to string a racquet?
You 26 😅
I love your content and the outlook that you show on tennis that is not seen much at all. Maybe try doing rituals between points? I don't know if you do it or not, since we don't see that part of your matches. Positive body language and thinking might take you to the next level in my opinion aswell. Keep it up and good luck!
It's hard when you are not winning, but if you come at it differently I feel you will see big performance improvement's. The answer is to start winning more often, and this is something you can start to do right now. It really starts with you setting out winning goals that are so easy and simple you can achieve them. This could be anything like walking faster than a stranger on the street to a point you pick, or getting to the training courts before someone, or it could be returning a serve. The point is our brain does not care one dam what form the win comes in as long as it has been flagged as a competition. of course you don't go around telling people your winning goals this is your thing. In psychology we have understood for a long time now that the brain loves winning and the more you win the more likely you will win in the future. But nowhere does it say all these wins have to be big wins. Small wins build to the big win but more importantly this technique which we call 'wins for success' builds high levels of resilience to failure and that is the big factor tennis players need in their locker of skills. The problem with losing is we know from research is that the more you lose the more likely you are to lose in an upcoming match. Furthermore, a players will have lower levels of deep confidence in their ability to win the match especially if they are ahead. They start to think why too much and they will start making mistakes on simple shots. They then switch to trying to hard to win and things fall apart. It looks like you are trying to use a lot of things and you might even be talking with a performance psychologist, but they here is to get you back winning that's all that matters because if you are not winning in some form or another it's becomes very hard to win many matches in a sport like tennis.
Thanks so much for the insight :)
These videos are great haha keep your head up
Thank you for having me on your channel, looking forward to doing more content 🙏📈
