    Good work Cam. Those daily 1% improvements can really add up over the weeks and months. Good things lie ahead for you👍

    Tough. Useful that you have the footage to work out why he was better. Just my view but you played safe high balls down the middle but not deep enough to keep him pinned back. He was hitting you wider, closer to the lines making it easy to slot the next shot into the gap. After a couple of breaks down in the second you had nothing to lose by letting go and unloading some shots. Nice edit at the end. Learn and move on. 💪

    Great video, as always. A pleasure to watch. Your opponent is indeed better on almost every aspect of the game. His balls are deeper, more penetrating, crazy kickserve, amazing touch, etc. He was always on the lookout to put you under pressure. He is super relax on his FH. Your rally balls are too high, too much spin and they tend too land short. I think you are doing too much of a vertical upswing on your FH. You can use that kind of shot here and there (certainly on gravel), but not constantly. You gotta work on your groundstrokes :) Keep strong!

    • @camprice99

    Great effort, a step in the right direction! I felt a lot of your balls went too central when defending from the BH corner, allowing your opponent to apply continued pressure with his FH. Just wondering if this is something you picked up on when watching it back and how the dynamics might have changed if you were able to direct them back to his BH cross court. Obviously easier from our perspective but keep up the hard work! Good luck in future matches!

    • @camprice99
      @camprice99 19 днів тому

      Thanks mate! I completely agree. This is definitely something that needs work. I think I was going for deep middle as I sometimes struggle to get around the ball on the backhand. As you point out the problem with this is if I don’t hit the spot I’m screwed as they can just rip forehands. Moving forward I’m going to try and document my training in more detail and this is something I’m 100% going to focus on.

    Unlucky Cam you aren't far away. But just some constructive critiscism. I feel your forehand has too much spin on it and not enough drive and pace through the court. So I feel if you took the ball earlier and hit through the ball a bit more, your forehand would be way more effective. I would also work on your serve plus 1 shot combo. This one shot combo will help you to hold serve easier and put pressure on the opponents more in their serve games. Whilst these things wont change over night, they are def things you can work on during your on-court training and off season. Keep battling mate👍
