Moissanite is silicon carbide, which has a "diamond structure" at the atomistic scale (every atom has four neighbors that form a perfect tetrahedron around it), but in silicon carbide the atoms alternate, 50% silicon atoms surrounded by only carbon atoms, 50% carbon atoms surrounded by only silicon atoms. Silicone (or polysiloxane) is a polymer made up of siloxane (−R₂Si−O−SiR₂−)ₓ chains (where R = organic group). Silicones are used in sealants, adhesives, lubricants, medicine, cooking utensils, thermal insulation, and electrical insulation. Some common forms include silicone oil, silicone grease, silicone rubber, silicone resin, and silicone caulk - but Moissonite is not silicone. Moissonite isn't diamond, but it certainly ISN'T silicone either.

There's absolutely no reason why you shouldn't pick a lab diamond over a natural one. They're cheaper, chemically identical, flawless and free of blood.

Guys honesty they are therotically no difference in lab grown diamonds and natural one only the highly expert people with equipment can only tell the difference which is of no point to normal peoples and natural diamonds also harm the environment so lab grown diamonds are both pocket and environment friendly choose wisely❤

At 4:00 sorry but comparing an SI1 without any inclusion in the pavilion plane to an VS2 with a very clear inclusion on the centre is comparing apples to oranges. For a real test you need ones that have inclusions in the same location.

At 1:42 VS1/2 stands for 'Very Slightly Included' not 'Slightly Included' - that's SI1/2

Diamonds are almost as common as freaking sand. Lab diamonds just exacerbated that. Lab diamonds are extraordinarily overpriced due to that stupid ass advertising campaign from the deBeers corporation long ago. So, if the question is, do lab diamonds, hold their value … that would be no. I would further say, do natural diamonds, hold their value, and based on my experience, the answer is also…no. Go take an engagement ring to a pawnshop or better yet a jeweler and see how much they offer you . Chances are they just want the melt value of the precious metal as they did me.
