I was very nervous putting my brand new beach cruiser on this rack. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxG6JIgwJhur8_Rg8UeQ3EmePzi_wSncL8 But after reading many reviews I decided to get this one and take a chance. When arrived it was very simple to adjust and put together. I also added spike tape over the metal hooks before securing and tightening the straps, and no scratches. I also purchased the top bar made by the same company so that my cruiser sits straight on the rack without having to turn upside down. Extra bungee cords are used to secure the front wheel from flapping and even piece of mind knowing your bike is secure. Definitely recommend...

I thought we aren't supposed to attach a bike rack to a spoiler. ? I'm in all kinds of upset because I didn't realize I can't use it in my car due to spoiler. ☹️

If you reading this once you put the bike on check the straps again. Often one tends to pop out once the weight of the bike is added.

The upper straps will brake the rear fibreglass spoiler for sure, and besides the spoiler you will lose your bikes and the bike carrier as well, and you can create a huge accident if it happens while driving in a highway. No, I don’t recommend to fix a bike rack as shown in this video.

Blimey, MY tyres never go back on that easily! Are mountain bikes generally easier than road bikes? A good tip I learned way back is, when removing, keep the tyre and tube oriented the same way. E.g. valve down, same sides up. Should you then find a small hole in the tube (bubbles in water) then it's easy to find and inspect the corresponding place within the tyre (e.g. I had a sharp sliver of metal in the tyre that could not be felt, but I knew exactly where it must be by positional comparison with the tube.
