Not a speed run strategy but a way to get to the game without losing a Life strategy. I selected Warthog for this particular example. I like the fact that he has a regenerating Homecoming Special and the fact that this is 1 of the harder levels for many people

@@FurbyParade226 Yup, the OG cheese! I'm using passwords just to get to the fight. So I'm starting out with minimal Arsenal. back in the day, I would do the same thing... before leaving one enemy alive in hong kong. I would collect as many remote mines as I could and shield up and boom boom boom; he's done.
ALMOST Spectre, thought i had done it but didn't review the footage. I was able to accomplish the next day.

@@Razgar_Voxel I've been playing since release in 96' news to me. Been out of the community a LONG time. How far behind am I? I mean, I'm doing this with shadow because I heard of another youtuber stream and mentioned it. But I didn't know. It was AI, wouldn't say well-known...per se, but I didn't even know that that strategy existed the A.I doesn't know whether you're inside or outside of the pagoda. I think that's why it s**** itself. Plus he bounces every time he gets hit by that special. Missing his chance to hit you. You have to also take into account that most people wind up on hong kong with zero lives to face dark tooth. So I was trying to do a zero lives lost strat. With other characters other than shadow... but no I did not know. Would you care to enlighten on how old?
Its better to keep reminding people through the years, otherwise these tricks will be lost to time eventually. I used to do this too, but felt bad cause it felt like cheating, so I'd get him down about half and turbo around and play normal. I would say people were doing it prob a year or two after release. Alot of tricks have been figured out long before people share them, as those people dont have the ability to inform the masses. For every " It took 20 years for people to find this easter egg etc." There are probably over 100 players who found it but just never told anyone.
@@Phishkisses That makes sense. I can get behind that. I've never seen it on gameFAQs back when it was a thing... or, maybe i just don't remember? Now i'm just trying to see what characters it works with and characters it doesn't. Remember, I'm only starting off at the minimal arsenal including two fire missiles and a napalm and my special. I always used to leave one enemy alive and collect as many remote bombs as I could before i came to Dark Tooth...And then I would shield up and just detonate five or four right underneath him. I think that's the only way to beat Dark tooth as the og cheese with characters like Mr. Slam and Hammerhead And Grasshopper. Watch what happens coming up with Twister next 😏

TM2 was a genuinely tough game and a lot of players never got to Dark Tooth and some to this day still don't know about him
@@TheTrueGOATS Most definitely. I don't count the game as being beaten with a character unless I don't use passwords... gotta conserve those two lives! After not playing this for about ten years, I actually lost in los angeles and then was fine in moscow. Guaranteed to lose a life in Holland however. Those bastard's always manage to blow up the windmill with the full repair

I'm just starting out doing simple videos, but Twisted Metal has always been my favorite video game and your channel is by far the best as far as twisted metal content is concerned. Remember on that livestream when someone was talking about the pagoda shelf in Hong Kong near the ramp to the inside of the pagoda? You gotta check out the latest couple videos.Because Shadow and Warthog are pretty much a definite win against dark tooth.
RUNNING OVER (NOT SHOOTING) 10 pedestrians in any level, will give you a full health. The time stamp for the beginning and untill last two pedestrians is: starts at 4:10 until around 8:15 I wish i was lower on health, but i haven't played this is a long time so, kinda wanted to play a bit and show off the secret. Also, who looses a damn life in L.A. and NOT in Moscow?! 😂

@VicariousNick I have NO clue how Mr. Slam managed to survive. The only thing i can think is maybe he landed on Roadkill and was teleported back on the mainland?? At least he mingled around down there or was teleported to a falling section and died?? Hell if i know! TWISTED METAL 2 MOMENT! 😂

This is ram damage ONLY. It may have looked as if I fired his special on the last hit, however they just disappear after ramming or shooting. However, the ram attack does much more damage. Those 2 fire missiles would have done nothing to help against the last special generated. It would have killed him regardless.
You can basically lose no lives on Warhawk if you use this strategy with every character. Shadows alternative special can work this way as well. Axles alternate takes a little more finesse to pull off. I'd recommend using his normal special.

DEFINITELY save at the end obviously. I just don't because I have the save states. And special characters can only be used in freestyle mode.... That's why I couldn't access them when I went to new game and just went to a save State after unlocking Lila. Hope this helps! The instruction manual does give hints but they're very cryptic. That's why actually I hope this video helps a lot of people, and the only problem with the race with Lila is she's very very tough and fast so the save states helped me immensely. Sorry I took so damned long getting the video up. But it was very frustrating to me, I tried everything from selecting different characters, and I think that might have a little bit to do with it? I tried getting the high score on every single possible level, tried playing multiple run through this with the same character... It was hair-pulling to get Lila to challenge me the second time. If you have any questions just hit me up here.
Looking back, I really could have just said; pull off massive tricks WHILE beating her in the race. I figured I'd just go through the whole thing. Being drunk has its drawbacks when recording, 😂 One thing I don't get is even though you get your stats level up. If anyone can shed light on THAT please let me know.
So holding L1 on Russia will give you Antarctica, Holding L1 on New Zealand will give you the Golf Course. AND Getting Lila and all other characters will get you Jack by default.

A strat with a mahogany body and non bathtub route would be amazing! I didn't even know they made mahogany strats I thought they were mostly alder and Maple! My all-time want find is a HM Strat in hot pink. 😎

I was actually able to find an older run of the guitar fetish Brown sound tailored pickups and installed one in the bridge position. Since this video she also now has a neck position Strat single coil in the neck position. It's funny because I did the single coil swap before the supposed Brown sound pickup? And the middle position gives you a very close to Brown sound... Well, sound! 😆

I got one when they were in the Prototype phase. He was using adhesive in the model that he gave me and it was a reusable pad that you could stick anywhere again on the guitar neck. I'll have to watch the video again but I know the guy is legit.
Yeah after watching the video I remember there's no clip per se. There's a base that has a sticky adhesive on it and then that base has a little ball and socket joint that connects to the rest of the lighting assembly so it can rotate. I remember him saying that he did this so that you could permanently Mount the base and take the lighting part off if you wanted.

Hey man what was having radial nerve palsy like? What hand did yours affect? Suffering from it for about 3-4 weeks and still no motor function in my forearm.. it’s on my picking hand and it is so frustrating to be able to fret licks and scales but not have shit for dexterity or technique in my strumming hand.. I hope it will get back to normal sooner than a year. I’m at the point of considering midi programming in all my ideas to record because I literally can’t play clean enough atm
It lasted about 2.5 to 3 months.. I was beyond frustrated when it happened. However, it did come back. Just tough it out as best you can and it will come back.. Mine was in my fretting hand and a wrist brace really helped me get through a bass playing gig. Just don't let it get to you and try some workouts to get it back up to snuff. How do you get them?
As of a few days ago, I walked into Target and saw them on the rack, went back the next day to get the Red Dot and it was gone. I don't know if Target messed up and released them early or what the case may be, but it seems hit or miss. Amazon doesn't even have them yet....and that's odd. I would think maybe it was a soft release and not everyone got them....The next month or two I would hope we'll start seeing them everywhere.....I can let you know who has them in stock when I find out.
