So I'm starting out with minimal Arsenal. back in the day, I would do the same thing... before leaving one enemy alive in hong kong. I would collect as many remote mines as I could and shield up and boom boom boom; he's done.
@@TheTrueGOATS Most definitely. I don't count the game as being beaten with a character unless I don't use passwords... gotta conserve those two lives! After not playing this for about ten years, I actually lost in los angeles and then was fine in moscow. Guaranteed to lose a life in Holland however. Those bastard's always manage to blow up the windmill with the full repair

I mean, I'm doing this with shadow because I heard of another youtuber stream and mentioned it. But I didn't know. It was AI, wouldn't say well-known...per se, but I didn't even know that that strategy existed the A.I doesn't know whether you're inside or outside of the pagoda. I think that's why it s**** itself. Plus he bounces every time he gets hit by that special. Missing his chance to hit you. You have to also take into account that most people wind up on hong kong with zero lives to face dark tooth. So I was trying to do a zero lives lost strat. With other characters other than shadow... but no I did not know. Would you care to enlighten on how old?
Its better to keep reminding people through the years, otherwise these tricks will be lost to time eventually. I used to do this too, but felt bad cause it felt like cheating, so I'd get him down about half and turbo around and play normal. I would say people were doing it prob a year or two after release. Alot of tricks have been figured out long before people share them, as those people dont have the ability to inform the masses. For every " It took 20 years for people to find this easter egg etc." There are probably over 100 players who found it but just never told anyone.

Now i'm just trying to see what characters it works with and characters it doesn't. Remember, I'm only starting off at the minimal arsenal including two fire missiles and a napalm and my special. I always used to leave one enemy alive and collect as many remote bombs as I could before i came to Dark Tooth...And then I would shield up and just detonate five or four right underneath him. I think that's the only way to beat Dark tooth as the og cheese with characters like Mr. Slam and Hammerhead And Grasshopper. Watch what happens coming up with Twister next 😏

TM2 was a genuinely tough game and a lot of players never got to Dark Tooth and some to this day still don't know about him
