Project Flat Fender - 1948 Jeep Willys - Putting it back Together #ronnyandbrettany
Today we bought a 1948 Jeep Willys Flat Fender. The jeep was completely in parts. The previous owner was in the beginning of a restoration process, unfortunately he was not able to finish the project, that is where we are taking over!
Today we wanted to see what we bought, so we stated to assemble the Jeep.
It was fun getting to see her almost complete. There is still so much to do!

    i did this sort of changed slightly with spice amounts. mine is not submerged in any liquid is that ok or will it do bad as the chicken, peppers and onions are not under liquid? first thing i tried canning so not sure.

      @RonnyandBrettany Місяць тому

      The chicken, peppers and onions will be fine not fully submerged in the liquid! Have you tried it yet, it's fantastic!😋 You can also can chicken without any other ingredients, we can chicken all the time. It creates it's own juices, it will not be fully submerged, but it'll last a long time on the shelf and tastes great! Enjoy!🩵

    every part needed to build these complete jeeps are available in the aftermarket...now including even the L-Head engine blocks....it's just the time and money that holds most of these up....just from your video it looks like you have all the major pieces...the nuts and bolts are just hardware store issue stuff...i would replace the broken/welded bell housing...it will let go eventually and ruin your day...it's mostly a CJ2a but could have parts from anything from a 1941 (MB GPW) - to a 1971 (CJ5) as certain parts interchange through all of the years....good luck with the restoration...they are a blast to drive around, and they certainly turn heads....fill up the gas at night otherwise you will have a crowd around you :)

    I subscribed, my YT feed brought you up and when you had meals in the jar not just soup which was the only thing I've been able to find until now can't wait to use it. Thanks to prime days 7/2024 & my Bestie/ Canning S-fu recommended it, saving on stove top mess, as well as not babysitting a pressure cooker. Her best bonus was to also convince my husband how great it is. I did have to laugh hubs has several guys he hangs out with that can, I didn't know that until last week. They are more excited about my Presto Perfect than I am finding an electric canner.

    I'm curious, being a new pressure canner; anyone find out what was wrong with their Presto Perfect not coming to temp: was it method - the regulator? Great video, @ronnyandbrettany I'm watching a ton before I dive in. Long time water bath regular canner long time water bath canner. My bestie aka canning Si-fu convinced me to go all in during July 2024 Prime Days since this would do both. Love my glass top halogen stove can't keep up, turns on and off too much for water or my regular stove top dinner pressure cookers. 😊

    I do prepare for the end times! 😃 I have a suggestion especially since y’all are in commie fornia. Can your beans. When they cut the water or poison it! You don’t want to waste precious water on cooking them. I make borracho beans, black beans with garlic and jalapeños, chipotle, etc…navy beans, pinto beans, all shelf stable for a lifetime if they are stored in a cool dark place! ❤

    Mmm mmm mmmm! I’m definitely adding this to my repertoire. The only thing I’m going to do differently is broil my marinated chicken for just a tiny bit before canning. I used to raw pack EVERYTHING! Then, I realized that broiling or roasting chicken gives it 1000x better texture and taste after canning, in my opinion. I actually do it now with all meats. I leave it completely rare in most cases, but roasting it a little or pan frying etc.. definitely helps with taste and texture. It’s a lot of extra work, but totally worth it. Love your style. Can’t wait to get more ideas from ya! ❤
