Just after crafting this I found it it would have been much better for me to use runes to increase PHYSICAL not cold damage... since my skills mainly scale from physical. Next time!

I was leaning towards starting PoE1 since PoE2 is paid and still incomplete, but if it takes an effin master's degree to learn the game than 50% of the content is plenty.

The skill tree in PoE2 is even worse. Glad I got that phd in mathematics.

Here is the thing. Because of how conversion works in POE2, all ele converts to chaos means your dmg now only scale with increased chaos dmg, so it becomes nothing special (far as I can tell).

Sell it to me, i wanna use in my build pleaseeeeeeeee

In PoE 1 this is one of the most powerful and expensive items in the game. BUT in POE 2 it seems to be worded that the player has no chaos resistance here... UH OH!

Omg I felt that 'there's always exceptions' so hard. Though it's more like there's always adverbs to the verbs. Bloodthirst -Supported Attacks deal Added Physical Damage HELL YEAH! Gonna be so strong when unarmed! -with Weapons oh... That's why it's not working! Other common gotcha being 'non-triggered skills'

Just started last night on XSX following the PoE2 hype. Should I wait for that do you think? I'm loving PoE after one night but it's so deep, and could be wasted time depending on when the follow up comes out. Do we have any idea when the 1.0 release is?

LE is great but end game needs work. Feels like only a few builds are viable in super end game (despite popular belief of the contrary)

tried last epoch. not impressed. itemization and the skills lack depth. and items geared towards specific builds are not good enough. finding LP items is the entire end game. it was a huge waste of time and money.

He mentioned a video comparing D4 to PoE lol. No comparison? D4 bad, PoE good. D4 is for a completely different audience, an audience that hates complexity and wants everything spoon-fed to them.

Hmmm, if you rate only ARPG computer games then yes, complexity of PoE(1) is far beyond anything on the market at the moment. But if you play other games (great example will be MTG - Magic: The Gathering) you will know, that there are more, MORE complex games, that takes life to master. BTW, many years ago I read somewhere that in the early development of PoE, the developers used Diablo 2 and MTG as inspiration to create a game with a relatively small initial set of rules and infinite possible complexity.

ARPGs need more competition. Was annoyed when most developers quit making them to instead make roguelikes and soulslikes. They used to be a big deal back in the day but younger generations just don't seem interested. Will us oldies be able to keep the genre going?

How do you not see or hear it

Last epoch could be such an amazing game. The only downside is development time and resources. Even so it's a really nice game I hope it will be better in the future.

LE is nowhere near poe or poe2 now but in a few years they are easely gonna topple diablo and perhaps go hand in hand with GGG (hope a collaboration will take place).

LE started out fine but just hasn't been able to build on it. To see them skip a season when there was a HUGE gap based on POE2 delay and D4 going from BAD to DEAD... is pretty much unforgivable. Still consider LE as money well spent on release. But not worth playing anymore.
