Thanks for pointing out my error at the end. I cover Jude in the video. Angels often means men. The word for domain also means rule/authority. The angels that rebelled did so during the exodus (Jude 5). My conclusion is that the angels Peter was speaking of were Korah and the 250 leaders of Israel that rebelled with him and were swallowed up by the earth. Notice that Jude specifically mentions Korah's rebellion in verse 11. I am working on a video about fallen angels. Hope to have it out in two weeks. The last few weeks have been very busy, so hopefully I will catch up. Hope that helps

@@ChristCenteredEschatology I can't agree with it, seems like there's too much scripture that would indicate that 70 ad was only a type of what was to come, but not a complete fulfillment. I believe it is written that when we are translated is when we will no longer be able to sin for real. Until then, we struggle. I also think the Kingdom is a literal structure built in heaven that will descend as the New Jerusalem. There are some things I see as quite literal and some things figurative or spiritual, just like we talk. I guess I'm in complete agreement on who the mother harlot is but not on the when of things. I'm interested to know what are your thoughts on the beatitudes from a preterist perspective?

@@kickdragon What scripture would that be? I was a dispensationalist for most of my life, when I learned that it was wrong I studied to find out what Jesus’s eschatology was and looked for passages that were yet to be fulfilled. After several years of studying I found that there are none. We are living in the never ending new covenant age. We must understand that the Bible was not written to us and we must let the Bible interpret the Bible. As far the meek shall inherit the earth, it should be land not earth and as a part of true Israel, we have inherited the true promised land.

This whole teaching is not a study of rightly dividing the scriptures, but an example of your world view that can't except angels interacting with the Adam (mankind). Even though these spirit beings have been doing that since the garden of Eden. Also the foolish notion that angels can't sin is absurd. Unfortunate that this teaching is a twisting, and mental gymnastics of the scriptures just to support a world view and not what word actually says

Jude 1:6 KJV “6 And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.” Also Adamic man does not have children that are 9 cubits tall with 6 fingers and 6 toes. On that same note, if the giants are just big strong men then God ordering their complete destruction by the tribes of Israel doesn’t make sense. God told Israel not attack the Edomites or the Moabites, but only 7 tribes were they to destroy. Deuteronomy 7:1-2 KJV “1 When the LORD thy God shall bring thee into the land whither thou goest to possess it, and hath cast out many nations before thee, the Hittites, and the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, seven nations greater and mightier than thou; 2 And when the LORD thy God shall deliver them before thee; thou shalt smite them, and utterly destroy them; thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor shew mercy unto them:”

@@ChristCenteredEschatology When your reading Amos 8 keep in mind that many dead bodies were cast from the ground when Jesus died on the cross (Matthew 27:50-53). Also on that same day the sun went down at noon just like Amos 8 said it would.

Seems similar. I don’t think I would call it a rapture, but I know when I have had loved ones die and seen them their coffins it seems apparent to me that their bodies are empty shells and they are no longer there.

The Gog and Magog in Revelation 20 is not the same as Ezekiel 38-39. Israel was not living in unwalled village during the Roman empire. Israel had had a wall since Nehemiah, and it was well fortified. Gog in Ezekiel 38 was someone who was prophesied about long before Ezekiel (Ez. 38:17). The people Ezekiel would not have had a clue about the Romans and the Persian empire ended approximately 331 B.C. Next week I will share who Gog was and how it all played out in the Bible. For starters the man of perdition was mostly like a high priest considering Paul uses the word ναός naós for temple, which typically refers to the holy of Holies. Paul did not say that the man of perdition was the abomination of desolation. Secondly, Paul said the man of perdition was being restrained when he wrote to the Thessalonians and that he had told them these things in person. Thirdly, Jesus said the abomination of desolations was the armies surrounding Jerusalem: Luk 21:22 - For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled. History records that Titus did in fact stand in the temple.

Do you have a source on Titus standing in the temple proclaiming himself to be God? I've long wondered about that.

@@thatMimosaGrove I didn’t say Titus proclaimed to be God and Paul did not say the man of perdition was the abomination of desolation. I also quoted the wrong verse somehow. I meant this one: Luk 21:20 - And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.

So what about a historical source for Titus standing in the temple? I've never heard or read it anywhere, and I've long wondered how preterists explain it. I'm personally amazed that there are Christians who don't think there's yet to be a crescendo to human history (a la the Rapture, Tribulation, and Millennium), you know what I mean? It seems like things ought to end with a really super big bang! So what do you say about AD 70 not being the worst tribulation in history (Matt 24:21)?

@ChristCenteredEschatology St. Peter: "" and the Heavens and earth will melt in fervent heat..."". He goes on to say that God will re-create a new Heavens and a new Earth. We shall have new bodies not subject to decay, decline, and wherein dwells righteousness.

I can provide other translations if you would like. God chose to communicate to men in their language because he wanted to communicate to them. He did not do so, so that he could communicate to himself. God’s standard for whether a prophet is true or not is whether his prophecies come true. nullifying God’s word by saying it could mean anything (soon could be soon or it could be 2000 years) is nullifying God’s standard.

I'm just saying that the 2000 years is easily seen with the thousand year verse, as he dies for 2 days. Preterism makes no sense since we don't have glorified bodies and live in a worldly time frame

I belive the only that Satan was allowed to do was manipulate the human calendar so that the true day would not be known to us, as our calendar is off from the true time of God

@@randomCHELdad First of all, God was communicating to mean, through men, using human languages that he gave men. God is not a God of confusion. When we try and nullify God's time statements by saying we can't know what they actually mean, then we are nullifying God's standard for judging whether a prophet is true or false (Deut. 18:22). . If God's time statements are meaningless , then why did Christ use them and why did God inspire the Apostles to use them In the Old Testemnt when God's prophet prophesied that something was to take place soon or was at hand, it always took place within the lifetime of those people. That is because God is a just God and always gives warning to the people he was going to judge (Just as He did in the first century). In Jeremiah, God called the prophet who said the Israel would return shortly, when in fact they would not return for 70 years, false prophets. If calling 70 years a short time is a lie according to God, what do you think calling 2000 years a short time is? Preterism does not make sense to you, because you have been taught to read the out of its context and you have been taught many false presuppositions, which you read into the Bible. I used to do the something. Preterism is he only eschatology that does not have to pick in chose which scriptures to believe. we believe they are all true.

I believe 2 days is 2000 years when God is in Heaven, which Jesus is sitting at the right hand now. Why does the gregorian and hebrew calendar have a 3760 year age gap? Do you believe in a globe too? Despite the Bible saying that his footstool shall never be moved?
