Bienvenidos. No es noticia el hecho de que nuestro planeta es un lugar único por sus condiciones que permiten la existencia de muchísimas especies vivas. Sin embargo, nuestra especie ha tenido un impacto bastante negativo en el medio ambiente, lo que pone a la biodiversidad (y a nosotros) en riesgo. Por ello hemos abierto este canal para celebrar los océanos y a la naturaleza, con videos de vida silvestre, ciencia y proyectos de conservación ambiental. Con esto esperamos motivar a muchas más personas a conectarse con la naturaleza.

Snorkeling in Todos Santos Island
Colourful sea urchins; darting fish; curious seals; all these and more are some of the typical marine wildlife I encounter along the coast of Todos Santos Island, off the coast of Ensenada, Mexico.
I am a freelance naturalist and snorkel tour guide with the company Baja Diving Adventures, and together we take our passengers to snorkel in the pristine waters of Todos Santos Island, where wildlife awaits to be admired. This short video serves as a guide of some of the most common fauna and flora that you're likely to encounter in your wet trip. Hopefully you’ll be able to see all of it... and maybe even some rarer wildlife sightings! ;-)

¿Alguien se encarga de retirarle esas costras parasitarias o son benéficas (todas) para el ejemplar?
Prácticamente todas las ballenas grises las tienen. Son parásitos en el sentido de que se benefician más ellos que sus huéspedes, pero son benignos porque no parecen causarle daños a las ballenas (excepto tal vez un poco de comezón).

If only it didn't pay so darn poorly, I'd love to set up shop somewhere out in the ocean for whales to come and have barnacles scrubbed off them. I think it'd be a success among whales.
