@@cuforming To be honest, I have absoluely no experiences with everything connected to electroforming, I am just collecting stuff to be able to start it, one day. But the experiments you made are great. You could try citrus on the jewellery, Coca Cola and incence fumes, for example. Or hair dye, fish sauce or coffee.. the possibilities are endless. Thanks for your efforts and for sharing your experiences!

I actually don't know the diameter. I use the only one that came out with it, and it also gets clogged... but I only use it with the graphite paint so it's not a big deal for me since I clean it every time.

Thank you for pointing it out. Even if the coat of paint had no resistance at all, the copper deposition would always start from the first point of connection on the top.

When CuSO4 . 5H2O is dissolved in H2O it will dissociate into Cu 2+ and SO4 2- ions. That's not a reaction and definitely there's no hydrolysis.

@@cuforming The reaction is Cu++ + 2OH- = 2Cu(OH)2 (solid). To check: if you add the sulphuric acid to water BEFORE adding copper sulphate. There will be no percipitate UNLESS you have some actual impurity there. The concentration of OH- starts out as 10^-7 in pure water, so you get less than a milligram of percipitate out of a kilogram of CuSO4, exactly what it looks like. With acid added it drops to 10^-14. Chemistry FTW.

Thank you, I appreciate your comment! The only brands that I know are the Onligol from Italy and Miralax from the USA, which are made of pure PEG. You can try to ask in your local pharmacies for a pure polyethylene glycol laxative, it must be without any excipients. Or you can try to buy it from Italy... The problem is that it's not easy to find someone that ship to Algeria and since it will go through custom borders it will cost more. @@mblf L'elettrolita non si esaurisce ma ha bisogno di manutenzione, la prima cosa da fare è aggiungere acqua quando evapora, aggiungere il brightener quando la superficie del rame non è più lucida, e raramente, aggiungere acido solforico in alcuni casi specifici. Contattami su instagram o facebook così ti posso dare maggiori informazioni su come fare la manutenzione.
