    Man I have been feeling so on edge lately. I feel that I know what I need to do m, but I'm between hearing God and hearing Satan over God and not even realizing sometimes. Satan has been so loud lately causing me to be resentful and upset at my husband for no good reason. I feel like a narcissist lately because I offer to do things to help him or around the house but get mad at him because I feel that I am not getting equal treatment back. He is a very hard worker and is a great husband and Father, I think this comes from my past watching my mom do the same thing and than treating my dad like crapp and I am trying so hard to not follow in her footsteps and break the chains of that negativity. Sometimes when I have this anger with my husband it results in me being short and quickly angered with my 3 year old son and I feel so bad afterwards and none of my family deserves this side of me. Part of the reason is probably due to me working 40 hours a week and than taking care of my 2 month old during the night and not getting nearly enough sleep to re set for the next day it's just tough right now because we are having to work hard with little sleep to support our family right now, I know it will get better. Just wanted to share and let you know this video did help hearing. Thanks

      Thank you so much for sharing. That sounds like a really heavy load to carry. If I were you I’d spend some time meditating on Philippians 4:13 which says I can do all things through Christ to strengthens me. Read the whole chapter so that you can get the full context of that verse because it doesn’t actually mean what people think it means. It means that you can find contentment in even the worst of circumstances through Christ to strengthen you.

    I remember when I was a child, my friends’ moms were all unique. They each had their own style and personality and everyone’s home was different. Even though we lived near each other and went to the same church or school. It seems like all my kids’ friends’ mothers are indistinguishable. It’s so hard to get to know people when they all look, talk, and live the same. My fellow moms don’t seem to have unique interests, hobbies, and perspectives. I think this is another reason we’re all lonely.

    Thank you so much for sharing! Everything you said in the beginning was me except having the desire to stay home. Covid initiated the 2 year process of coming home full time. My husband is supportive but I’m hard on myself because I tied my identity to my job and also because I wasn’t raised to be a homemaker. I was ready to give up until I came across this video and you read Galatians 6. God was speaking through you. Thank you for your obedience. Blessings to you and your family. ❤

    Appreciate the help here, very sincerely. However I would encourage ladies here (and myself) to invest in a good local church and read our bibles and pray asking the Holy Spirit to help us. They are free. Check out the Dorean principle, operating in God's economy through grace (free). Jesus bless you.

    Thank you! I needed this. I LOVE the concept of 1000 hours outside, but with a baby, moving, cloth diapers to wash, meals to prep… it’s a lot of pressure! Not everything can be done outdoors in our current season. This is our first year trying for 1000 hours and I didn’t realize how much guilt I’ve been carrying for our lack of progress this far. Thank you for your advice and encouragement.

    I hate that I feel so ungrateful sometimes, because God has blessed me to stay home with my daughter, but I also have a full time remote job that is very taxing. Its amazing being home with my baby, but I still feel guilty for her not having all my attention. I just feel so pulled in too many directions. Praying my husband will be able to take the bills over fully soon.

    • @TransformedHomemakersSociety

  • @indira.r
    @indira.r 2 дні тому

    Yep. That was me too. I thought I was kind and optimistic, but truly I was impetuous and boisterous. It’s taken time for the Lord to heal that in me. It can still be a challenge at times, but I remind myself daily that the Holy Spirit lives in me so in the core of my being I have that quiet and gentle spirit and chose to walk in it. He’s also given me the wisdom of when to speak and when to pull back. And when I mess up, I learn from it, receive his forgiveness and move forward. We can’t give the enemy a foothold with guilt and condemnation.

  • @indira.r

    Amen! I too come from the New Age movement. Used to love yoga, meditations, and all the hippie things before meeting Jesus a few years back. It took me years to warm up to brain retraining because of it. But praise God the Lord tore down those barriers. I now LOVE meditating and visualizing with Jesus.

    • @TransformedHomemakersSociety
      @TransformedHomemakersSociety 2 дні тому

      Yes 100%! I was hesitant too for that reason but have learned that we are called to meditating… on the Word!

    Love your videos. I have a similar type A organized personality and it’s taken time to realize that we all need different things. Often the message is that we need to do more, but for me it’s quite the opposite. My daily surrender to the Lord has been the biggest blessing and has brought so much healing to my souls AND body. It’s crazy how these things really do affect the body.

  • @indira.r
    @indira.r 2 дні тому

    Love this! It’s important to not force things. Embrace what the Lord brings in each season of life.

  • @indira.r
    @indira.r 2 дні тому

    Mental, emotional, behavioral, and physical healing all take time. The Lord heals, we see evidence of it, but the symptoms (be it mental, emotional, behavior, or physical) they will come back. The old man, the flesh will knock on our doors. The more we can stand, hold on to the healing the Lord provided, and choose that over everything else, the deeper the healing, and the less we’ll struggle in the future.

  • @indira.r
    @indira.r 2 дні тому

    I totally resonate with everything that said. I’ve been Brain Retraining for eight months now and so much of this has been uncovered and healed by the Lord, especially letting go of perfectionism, to do lists calendars, things I need to talk to people about, or constantly going through lists/things in my mind. Now I just mostly let things go and trust that the Lord will remind me if it’s really that important.

    • @TransformedHomemakersSociety
      @TransformedHomemakersSociety 2 дні тому

      Wow! Very interesting how He worked in your life in that way! I’m still a list gal but they bring me peace not stress. I can see if they bring someone stress then submitting to the Lord in that way is probably very powerful.

    I think for me one of the harmful messages about dating that I got from social media in high school was that your boyfriend should be your everything. That you should be ride or die, 100% committed, basically giving him privileges that he hasn’t earned if you’re not married. I’m not saying I think we should be disloyal to someone we’re dating, but I also don’t think dating was meant to be this marriage-like commitment because when you view it that way, it is easier to justify giving yourself away to someone. I think dating is meant to be a time of getting to know someone to SEE IF you can give your heart, body, and life to them in marriage.

      Same here, and thank God my husband wants me to honor God in this. I used to work at FedEx as a package handler and I was always exhausted and never saw my family because I just came home and went to bed. You reap what you sow, and I definitely learned that I was not supposed to be doing that. My son is autistic and he needs extra help. I pray other parents who are Christians give their testimony of a special needs family and living. It’s is an endless journey and lifelong lesson of patience 🥰❤️❤️🙏

    I can relate to this a lot. Although I don't have kids, I married about a year and a half ago. I would have sudden anger at my new husband because I was overwhelmed with cleaning and adjusting to a new role. I went from just cleaning 1 whole room to an entire house, cooking, etc. Not even a week into marriage, I would have huge bursts of anger towards my husband because the way he cleaned or anything was not up to my standards. I only felt like that because I was comparing my new home to other people's homes. That's just one example. Anything my husband did made me so mad, and he definitely knew it, that's for sure. I have gotten a lot better, but it's still a work in progress. Your video is such an eye-opener. I appreciate you so much, and thank you for sharing these things with the public.
