Absolute 🚀
Good luck on the fix mate.
42 psi bro thats too much 40-38 is the sweet spot for the 14b and get mitchilin road 6s good all round tire the pirellis are good for summer not for UK weather trust me
Very helpfull información, thx 😊!!
I have done it a lot. You should not turn the file in the hole to prepair it, but instead do a firm up and down movement . If the hole is not big enough, it will be difficult to push the strip in. It is better to have the tyre at the normal tyrepressure and leave the file in the hole until you are ready to push the strip in , to prevent it from losing pressure. You want that tyre to be hard and under pressure when pushing in the strip, to make it easier. Push in until the two ends are about 1 cm out and pull back. Cut off the excess Otherwise good video...Oh and I always ride the tyre till the end. I have never been worried, and it never goes wrong. I do test tyrepressure very often and I ride my bike daily summer and winter
Oh baby that R1 is gonna be niiiiiiiiice.
imo keep the screen black, love that bike
Go for clear screen in my opinion 👋
I agree with clear because form over function.. As when you're fully tuck you can see clearly
Neat find.. Saves time and effort mate.. jobs a gooden
just one suggestion, check MOT rules on brake lights and indicators to make sure your current one is within the rules. not the end of the world if it failed as you have the 2nd led set that you say is more obvious that you can see braking and indicating
Great bikes - and yours looks a real treat. I sold my RVF400 a decade ago when I got a yearning for more horsepower - and I've now had the Fireblade and ZX-7R fix for that (both also sold...). Now I'm back to the 400 V4 with a VFR..... For a small person (me) the 400s make more sense. Enjoying your videos.
Hi Darren, enjoying your videos, also working on a vfr. Just wondered where you sourced the 38mm lock nut that you needed, having trouble finding one. Many thanks
Waiting for the 🇩🇲 flag on it
Some class bikes ... any one would do 😂
just bought one, stunning bike just need to get used to it, i actually thought there was something wrong with the back brake as it was really not doing anything. but now i realise after hearing you that they're rubbish.
That bmw hp4
Great bikes. I have a Gen 8, had one like this before and they're so good for everything, comfy and rapid.
You've already found an R1 buddy
Nice bike I like the color .My brother just restored a cbr400 nc29, it took him two years. I am in the process of resoring my tdr250, I had the tzr250 1kt before that but the sitting position became uncomfortable for me leaning forward the whole time so I changed to the tdr. I love the 80s and 90s bikes, so keep enjoying and stay on both wheels.
Very nice bike 👍
The best looking generation of the R1 👌🏼
great video, i would have avoided M4 though
Glad it was an easy fix with a new battery !
Congrats, best way to check fuel. Pop tank open and shake bike 😂 no fuel gauge on litre bikes. Welcome to the club.
Good choice of bike, had a few R1’s you will definitely enjoy it, be safe..
Such a nice bike, amazing find. Enjoy.
Nice purchase mate. I had the 2013 model and loved it. Put nearly 50k miles on mine. This model makes an excellent sports bike for the road, very planted. Rider modes tend to make the throttle feel sharper. Engine feels a bit like a v4, I loved the feel of it. If you do one thing, get the suspension set up for your weight. Doing this transformed mine for the better. Enjoy.
Nice choice sir
nice bike
What a lovely looking bike, I’m a tad jealous lol
#BigBang
are you the guy from" build and repair and restore"
Yeah I am
Yes Darren congrats on the Big bang
The mileage tells you how uncomfortable the bike actually is. Or I should say all the general rockets.
look forwards to some vids on this bad boy!
What a good looking bike that is! Enjoy this safely! You deserve this with your hard work! Take care Darren.
Nice one Darren, looks cool. Safe driving.
Congrats.👍
I Currently have a TL1000R, but still remember my NC30 fondly. Great handling, super reliable too.
I've discovered your rebuild and have been studiously following, but mate - jumping on the carbs was the funniest thing 😂! Brilliant work and can't wait till the end 😎💜
What is the TDC an the CAMHS
I need your help
Hi how can I help?
Hi!, really love your videos, are very helpfull. How much room left between the stock tire and the swing arm?
Hi do you mean on the side?
Nice bud 👍
How can the rear brake be that bad? Doesn’t it have more to do with bleeding the fluid and using a higher quality pad and rotor, or is it the master cylinder itself that is not up to snuff with modern gear?
Sounding good and Looks comfortable...
Theres two type ones in my town, one is mine :)
I need to get some of those boxes, they're strong as heck😅
nooo way.. ONLY factory decals and looking man!!
