This is beautiful. You can feel the emotions in the song. I lost my daughter, one of the hardest times in my life this song takes me there but gives peace with it. Something much needed. Your incredible.
My eyes are wet with sadness with you sharing the seemingly unmanageable emotion of loss but, at the same time wet from my heart being touched by the words you have shared. I could only have hoped to be able to someday affect anyone in such a way that brought them peace... so, something that may seem so easy for others to do (comment), to me it is such an amazing gift that you have given to me. It helps me to continue to heal! Thank YOU for that! *hugs Sunnie "Daze" Coleman
Nikolas Young Sometimes tears are good! I miss my father immensely... this song helped me process that pain. I hope that somehow it helped you too! All my love, -Sunnie Daze Coleman
Heather Chisholm I might just have to make it that way, someday! Fingers crossed that with passion, diligent and some luck of the universe... I'll find myself within the music industry and get to travel, share myself through my music to others and fulfill my lifelong purpose and dream! ❤️ ✨ *hugs -Sunnie Daze
This song brings up so many emotions for me. It's a beautiful song but i can't help but want to cry when i listen to it. I've just ended a 10 year relationship with my ex girlfriend and it feels just like a death. My heart hurts so much. On top of that it makes me sad and think off all the friends i have lost in the past few years from heroin overdoses. After 20+ years i managed to escape the wrath of heroin with my life for whatever reason, but so many I know have not. This song really hits home for me in so many ways. I'm so happy i stumbled upon your brilliant talent and amazing voice. You are a shining star!! Cheers.
Treasure Hiding9 ❤️All of my music has a piece of my heart within it. I have always written, sang and played with the intent to hopefully help others heal in someway as well. Death of any relationship is hard to process... this song helped me with my father's passing. I too have lost many friends, but none have hit me as hard as losing my best friend, my Dad. Hopefully it helped you in some way too! *hugs time heals if you let it. All my ❤️ -Sunnie Daze Coleman
I know I've heard this song before, but, damn...this is great. I've had two good friends of mine pass away, and another one attempt suicide (and survive), and I thought I wasn't going to get through it. But, you know what, I'm still standing :)
That is entirely what the emotions behind this song derived from. The loss of my life long best friend, who just happened to also be my Dad... it has been a hard road to travel, but I am still standing! Exactly!
beautiful 💙💙💙
