Mount Cook / Aoraki 100km/hr winds , my attempt to climb Mt Cook (Old footage).

I had 5 days to tag the summit and return to Wanaka. We had Severe wind warning for the entire time I was at Plateau Hut. From the Met service: 1000m: 20km/hr, 2000m: 40-60km/hr, 3000m : 80km/hr You can see the haze above Mount Cook from the fast winds hitting and blowing over the top.

In Italy, in the province of Florence, I have a small, completely original Suzuki Jimny 4x4 with a 1.3-litre m13a petrol engine from 2001, which I use for country and mountain trips on dirt roads and forests, as well as for trips on muddy terrain. On the road I use a set of Ziarelli retreaded tyres, model Mud Power m+s 205-70-15, and then I have a set of Hankook Dynapro atf RF 10 m+s off-road tyres in the original size 205-70-15.

Greetings from Pontassieve province of Florence, Italy. I see many people who when they go to the countryside on dirt roads in the presence of mud and you see that they go off-road equipped not with mud tires and also use road tires and all terrain! A question is, which tires are most used in your area for driving on rough terrain with mud and snow? Do you use M+S off-road tires or M+S off-road tires?

You'll drive from Yeppoon to Byfield mostly along Byfield Rd. You'll turn into Waterpark Rd. Drive to Waterpark Creek Calmping Area. The dirt section starts from there. You'll follow that dirt road all the way to Stockyard Point, via Big Sandy. Google maps will show you the way, it's pretty accurate 👍. Let me know if you got more questions, I don't live too far away from there.

I did it in 3 days, very easy 3 days, if I was to do it again, I would do it in 4 days, but only to real immerse myself in the area.
