Very nice! You have an incredible layout, for sure. It is amazing how much you fit in a smaller footprint. I don't have the discipline to create all of that scenery. Scenery is my nemesis, which is why my layout never looks 'complete'. An excellent video Keep them coming.

Fond memories of camping at Carpentaria State Beach Park in the early 1950s. My friend and I would walk up to the tracks to watch the Daylight come through and listen to that steam whistle.

I never would have guessed 6’x12’ for your layout. Truly amazing and I’m sure John Allen of the Gorre & Daphetid would applaud you not only for your hard work but for the use of visual deception to make the scenes not only seem larger-than-life but with how much detail is packed in there. Bravo! On a side note, perhaps you should consider adding some catenary for your electric locomotives and perhaps even some boxcars and other rolling stock from Mexico, the Northeastern US (BAR) and Canada (I’ve seen plenty of videos where CN and CP boxcars make some visits to the sunny sunbaked lands of the Southwestern United States.). I’m not sure if Mexican engines have ever visited the U.S. but I’m sure it would be interesting to see an NdeM ‘Niagra’ or an ex-NKP 2-8-2 burning oil rounding the curve for a little visit. On another note, have you considered perhaps enlarging your layout? Perhaps adding a spur to “the outside world” which would allow you to add more industries and the like for your railroad?

It’s so relaxing. There’s something about O-Gauge Trains at night. The light glistening off the rails, the the signals and markers on the engines, the flickering silhouettes from the passenger cars… love it.

Fantastic. I might have to try blunami at some point. Seems like a good solution. The weathering on those engines was pretty severe! I thought you were going to say that they had actually been in a fire.

Great video Johnny! Nice to see some new life in those geeps! I loved the Blunami sounds in the lead unit. Welcome to the late 70's and early 80's era of western railroading! You need some modern 50 ft. boxcars, 4427 and 4750 covered hoppers, maybe some bulkhead flats, and 53' gondolas. That should give you a good start on that era of freight cars. Blunami seems like a much cheaper alternative to even the ERR boards. The sound files in DCC in general blow away anything the MTH or Lionel make in O Gauge. Good to hear that Blunami has great sound files as well. This one sounded pretty accurate. Has that EMD start up sound.
