Complete No-Fuss All-Day BBQ Pulled Pork Meal [Cabin Airbnb Meals]
In this video I'll show you how to cook a pork show their barbecue style low and slow all day long, starting out in the oven and then finishing it on a charcoal Weber grill that I started using a charcoal chimney. To make this video even cooler I forgot the barbecue sauce and so I had to make my own barbecue sauce from scratch. Included is a barbecue sauce recipe and how to make a simple but very tasty sweet potato side dish using a cast iron pan.
When I find a good price on a pork roast I will buy several. Then I will take a pork shoulder, slather it in some mustard and then sprinkle BBQ rub (see below) liberally all over the entire piece of meat. Put it in a plastic bag and seal airtight or vacuum seal and store in the freezer. Take it out 24 -48 hours before you want some nice tasty BBQ pulled pork to let it defrost.

I bought one of these. I need to add my experience. I am pitting carmine jewel cherries. They are about 1/2 the size of full size cherry. I also tried choke cherries. The choke cherries go right thru the pit catch into the bottom. The carmine jewel can fit side by side in the shoot and the pit punch will go in between the two cherries not pitting either one. Also the size is too small to fit in the center of the punch. So I had to make an insert about 3/8th inch to fit against the end of the shoot to hold the cherry centered under the punch. And I had to feed them into the shoot one at a time. It was still faster than using a single hand held pitter but not by much. I wish they made a plastic insert to fit in the shoot for carmine jewel size cherries. It would be a narrower shoot with a smaller cherry hole at the punch point. Then it would speed things up a lot for me.
