Samuil Feinberg - Album For Children Op. Posth. (Movements 1-9)
Переглядів 1,8 тис.3 роки тому
In 1961, Feinberg's former pupil Mikhail Sokolov asked him to compose some pieces for children for his new teaching book, even though Feinberg had only ever taught advanced students. He thus produced the first movement of the Piano Sonata No. 12, giving it the subtitle Sonatina. The result was much too complicated for the intended purpose, and Sokolov joked about Feinberg’s inability to compose...

진정한 뇌절ㅋ. 머리도 소리도 띵해진다
It might sound less robotic
I was first introduced to his piano.concerto, i dont know he was a minimalistic composer, but his pc impressed me, with very minimal material.
I still don’t get how this is easier than the nee version
I rather hear it with out orchestra
@@ChristopherHauser-58 why
The chord at the start make me think of dies iraes by Mozart,it’s very dramatic 😂
This one isn’t an older version of vision,it’s seem that liszt has abandoned that piece in the final set of etude
I really like that version and its less difficult
When the piano key is stuck so you accidentally spam one button trying to unstuck the key.
whoaaaaa spectacular stuff

essas melodias com os violinos 1 e 2 em 2a menor me pegam demais!!!
This is seriously one of my favourite pieces

I think it’s really hard to learn, but I’m a beginner and trying not to be hard on myself! But still! Feels like I’ll never reach this level! That’s a great interpretation! And I was really amazed by how fast Yuja Wang plays it!
@@Sergey-ov8gz You should not learn this as a beginner lol. The repeated notes and polyrhythms make this one of the trickiest etudes of the set. However, Glass does have some easier etudes that you may find more approachable!
Do you any similar pieces with such intense emotional display and explosiveness?my pianistic limit is "L'isle joyeuse" (played not masterfuly but okey-ish)@@GUILLOM
@@m.a.g.3920 that's a very hard piece! Right now I'm learning the sixth movement from godowsky's java suite, which is definitely very explosive, and not as hard as it looks. Check it out!
My favorite ending Rautavaara ever composed. That D6add9 chord is such a perfect resolution, especially with the one F# in the 1st Trombone. Wonderful Picardy 3rd
Omg the cadence at the end of 13 is just perfect
He is an amazing composer. I am very happy I stumbled across your channel. Thanks for posting this. It is absolutely gorgeous.
Written 2001 and yet would hardly be out of place as a 6th piece of Ravel's Miroirs suite
Hardly! Rautavaara can certainly show a variety of textures, and some of them are rather like those that Ravel used. But Ravel used real harmony to support his melodies, and that gave you a feeling that you know where the music is going. This piece by Rautavaara is woefully short of that. So it gives you no sense of where the composer is taking the music. So the notes sound random, with the composed notes no more plausible than any others. That's not what I want in music.
is there a synth around 23:29? or i might be going insane
Lol I think it's just the orchestra

It's so interesting feeling to hear so simple and not very dark pieces by Feinberg! I hear a lit of influence by Medtner and Stanchinsky. This is criminally underrated!

Where in the world did they hide this composer from me?
He wasn’t in the boys club, so many others like him that also didn’t receive the respect they deserved because of politics. Glad you are discovering Alkan now.
Im moving to langley high school and about to join their string orchestra. I hope one day, i get to play this song. The violin solo sounds amazing.
Ich bin begeistert von seiner Musik. Habe ihn erst jetzt entdeckt.

idk Guillom, you're playing sounds beautiful. You handled the Einojuhani Rautavaara - Narcissus without any issues. really enjoyed listening to this. I am a composer first and pianist 3rd or 4th... but seriously, thank you for sharing your talents. I appreciate all you do, and ALL other pianists in your league do... Far beyond my capabilities. I'm amazed at how quickly you can turn out a piece so beautiful and from the looks of things you've been bust uploading a ton of content. Thank you for sharing... it's all i have and mere words aren't enough!!!
This is not a recording of mine, it's Alberto Nosè's!
That's the uglier song I have ever heard. What is wrong with this Sergei? Didn't he learn from Mozart anything?
Very reminiscent of his Cantus Arcticus written around the same time
With all his pianistic acrobatics.. he opens with La Vision... Which ends with a fragment of a beautiful German song, Der Mond ist aufgegangen... Is it by accident?
I don't think so :)
