Have practically been living along the Oregon coast range with majority of my time span exploring the Tillamook area. I’ve yet to actually find the entrance to these off-road trails. I’ve been to Brown’s camp and the other camps up there. I’ve stayed in the staging area I’ve driven up to the top of Saddleback and I’ve seen a couple of side-by-side and motorcycle trails, but I have yet to find Access to the 4 x 4 high clearance trails. I’m a full-time adventure nomad in the Oregon coast Range.

It is a 2004 Pathfinder SE. The new Pathfinders are far less capable offroad but more comfortable on-road. In regards to comparing to a Forrester, that is a tough call. Both would be able to do light offroading and I think it really depends on what you will be using it for.

Love it mate, I have a 2000 r50 Pathy myself in champagne gold colour for my beach 4wd adventures on the islands off Brisbane in South East Queensland, Australia. To my Pathy I’ve added a 1& 1/2 inch lift with Tough Dog Suspension running Parelli Scorpian AT tyres with an aggressive side wall for better protection, Rhino Pioneer rack with pins to secure my Maxtrax recovery boards, Xrox Bullbar with attached STEDI and Great White LED’s for when driving up the beach late at night back to camp, after a long day out before high tide arrives. I also added some custom made ‘Pathfinder’ decals including ‘ST Touring’ for that extra touch. I was considering moving it on after 6 years from when I bought her with just 85’000 kms which is now sitting on 175’000 kms but finding it hard to say goodbye. You’ve inspired me to create a video for my own channel before we depart later this year as I want another adventure or two with the old girl this Aussie Spring come September.

Cool little video of a little trail in what was my old stomping ground 30 years ago! One really important point, though.... Seeing you hanging out the drivers window with your rig teetering on that slippery slope made me cringe... That truck could suddenly shift / tilt and some rather important parts of you could get crushed against the bank / tree roots. That is really a dangerous novice mistake !! Continue to have fun out there and be safe !!!👍

It is indeed! I believe that is the reason for the Blue rating, else it certainly would be a Green rated trail.

Hey I own 2000 Series 2 R50 Pathfinder with 202.567 miles on the clock and still going strong I have always wounder why people put land rover coils on their pathfinders.

To lift it far beyond stock! NRC 9448 coils will lift the rear 4 inches. They directly fit and are very inexpensive! I have lifted my rear 6 inches total, with the use of a spacer and LR coils.

Tell me about your rear bumper, do you like it?

They are Ranch Hand bumpers mounted front and back! I added the tire carrier to the bumper. Yes I do like the bumpers! My only complaint is that there is no spot for a winch up front but it does have a receiver, so I carry a hitch winch.

Nice design! Whats the need for the loose bearing flange?

They give a smaller contact to the heim joint allow more articulation. The many not be needed if there is enough articulation without binding.
