Dr. Downstream
Приєднався 22 бер 2021
This channel is meant to be a vlog of sorts. Random tips and advice for the exterior cleaning industry. Deep thoughts of a guy who should wear his respirator more often, but it's too late now. The projects, tips and inventions seen on this channel are independently created and my little gift to the world. All opinions on this channel are objectively correct and 100% fact checked by me, an independent fact checker. Take my advice at your own risk (but it's usually pretty good advice so don't complain if something goes sideways I'm gonna deny culpability anyway)

Like share subscribe, or don't. it's fine either way. But really, why wouldn't you subscribe? I'm your friend, I'm not like the others. OH. I know I suck at the youtube. I am capable of it but waaaay too busy or inebriated to actually edit these videos. Maybe some day. But for now just turn your head, cough, and enjoy the show.

Foundation damaging deck- Getting jacked up
Переглядів 163Рік тому
The nerd that built this deck used a total of SIX 1/4" tapcons to attach 16' of ledger to this home. They all eventually snapped under the weight. The deck was directing rain and snow directly up against this home's foundation, resulting in a professional being called in to address the issues. We went thru and made the deck right. Jacked up back to level, rebuilt some stairs, replaced some rott...

Is the roller pump still working good?
Beautiful set up
Nice. What’s the brand of the valves?
Yeah but you know what that same pressure washer now turning into a belt pressure washer p and most likely you can get a higher water volume out of it with the right pressure washer pump
Is the video still coming out
Still working bro
I'm alive bro. Just been dealing with some stuff.
You waayy over did that. Shark Brand is a very popular brand of do it yourself Plumbing attachments. Check out this dudes. Use Real Simple Bruh.
RIP
Hey man I'm doing the exact same thing I just bought a predator 420cc motor can you please give me a link for the gear reducer
Hey boss. I know this is an old video, you think you could show a video of each piece and your plumbing? If I can visually see it I can build it! I’m looking to upgrade from 12v
My check valve has failed after 3 house washes. I just replaced it. All stainless. How do you open these to rebuild it?
they just thread on and off. 1/4" threads depending on the injector
Barefoot in your messy lab talking about your experience yet providing no actual data --> What was the increased draw ratio you experienced by not running a pre filter, what alternative filter or draw stick setup are you running if any, what draw ratio increase are your experiencing using a check valve now?
Why would I bother answering such a rude comment? When you can barely blow air thru the thing, I guess if you want a scientific answer, I'd say "a lot". And no I'm not bothering with a filter it's been years now with zero problems. Please unsub and don't watch any more of my videos. And here's your money back, dick.
Nice job
Great video. I bought the parts list. How did you connect the coupler to the Predator Engine? The shaft on the Predator is 3/4 and the coupler is 5/8?
Looks like my work bench 😅
What happens to escaping the 12v world? Tell about it.
So the gear reduction addition allows the direct drive to pull from a buffer tank , correct ?
You have parts list
What shaft do u need to mount the pump
What gearbox are you using? I would like to mimic yourbuild
Please excuse my ignorance im new to this. You are using this set up for house/roof washing only. And im assuming like a 420cc/459cc for flat work? Any info is appreciated
Whats the best way to get fittings?

I Got $1,000 in pennies. Let's Do This. Good Video
I haven't done any videos in my other channel for about two years. Just can't get around to doing it
This guy isnt posting content. He must of went bankrupt and closed his company down
lol, ok
Falling asleep rn but gotta plan out my pressure washing business so thanks bro🙏🙏🦾🤙🏼🤞🏼🔥👍🐉🏂🐲
You should try using Banjo company pipe parts they're plastic fittings and pipes are fiber reinforced and used heavily in agricultural spraying and wildland firefighting.
Love the video, I’ve done crazy research over the last 4 days. Your set up is ideal. I called a few manufacturers. Hypro tech was very informative. If you reduce the RPM’s from 3600 to 600. You can get a true 11gpm at 200 psi. That’s using a Hypro 7700C-r. Develan 4900 without the gear reduction runs 6gpm at 100 psi continues. Thank you for the starting point. Saved us all at least $1000.
I love the ingenuity! Seeing this two years later. Now I am on to your 1 year report.
Looking at a 5.5 GPM build in a few weeks, but I’m torn between the 420 13hp vs the 459 15.8 hp engine.
Go big!
@@dr.downstream1151 I found a review of the 459 on Red Beard’s Garage UA-cam. ua-cam.com/video/BqfRRgZ4SMw/v-deo.htmlsi=SWOWfySaLGEp_iL6 Sold me, the 459 is the one I’m going with.
What about the threads? How did u match them together?
Did it work?
what are the flow rates with and without the pump?
Could you breakdown what pumps you used for these? I am disabled and want to build a setup for my sons so they can make some money while in highschool. I like how clean and simple this is and somewhat budget friendly 😂. I actually found your videos looking for guides on building a gas softwash setup, so thanks for the dedication and info man. New subscriber here
Hey I have covered this information in my rebuild video. Just look for it, was last winter
@@dr.downstream1151 looking thru the videos now. Thanks again
Good to see a new video and looking forward to that schematic and parts list. If some of those items are from Amazon, set up an affiliate link. At least you’ll get some reimbursement from it.
Wondering where you’ve been! What happened to patterning up on facility maintenance…. I’m fully signed on with a provider now, are we going to partner up or what did you have in mind?
I had to give up on that. A lot of bad things have happened to me the past couple months.
I'd like a schematic/parts list (if possible) of this setup. Nicely done
Put a peace of flex hose from the pump to the pvc to break up the vibration man.
that's what I ended up doing.
my draw rate with this 3/8" check-valve on my SuperSuds Sucker is nearly double what it used to be with the 1/4" ball and spring check-valve
What kind of 12v ball valve are you using
What the fuck, stop dragging
Can you help me find all the supplies you purchased for the WFP 600 video you did? Like the DI tank the hose everything. You mentioned the carbon filter you are going to add for 20. Can you give me where you bought all these important items for 200 the DI tank etc.
Cool idea, but I don’t understand why you didn’t go for the renote for your downstream bypass instead? Isn’t that the idea of having a downstream bypass?
Hey how you doing I'm in Florida what product you use for wax or any recommendation beat looking for info for the last 3 years but nobody has mentioned just you keep it up
Hey buddy please please don't be mad at what I'm about to tell you. I agreed to not talk about the actual product being used when I was introduced to the concept by a good friend of mine. So I have to decline to give you an answer. However, I'll tell you it's easily researched and worth the option.
Can I ask where you got that adapter/coupler at 1:05 ? I cannot for the life of me find that online. I started with a Dewalt 2.5 gpm a couple years ago that had a gx200 in it. When I upgraded to my 8gpm, ironically the 2.5 gpm pump blew when using it to wash something at my own house. But I had this same idea to do this, salvage the gx200 and make a soft wash unit out of it somehow 👍
Now all you need is 1500 meters of hose on your reels 🤣
Some days,, I wish. thanks for watching man
Literally the only thing pump setup for soft washing does better than my 12-volt flojet is gallons per minute I'm sitting at 6 at the pump of course we all know that's not what you get up the gun when it comes out realistically that's probably back down to 5 or 4 gallons a minute but I can easily get 45ft to 50ft and I've never had a problem with the 70 PSI that it puts out or whatever it is putting out by the end of the tip of the gun cuz you don't need pressure chemicals what cleans it all and that pump by itself is like $250
"literally" lol .. I've used both and the roller pump is superior compared to 12v. You can run it like 5-6 hours off a single tank of gas. If you clean a lot of cedar homes this is important. And it doesn't care about head pressure of going up 2 or 3 stories after 250 feet of hose like 12v does. Even my new setup using a lifepo battery my Fatboy doesn't quite manage what the roller pump was capable of. In my book it simply comes down to space and weight in my truckbed. I actually gave my rollerpump setup away to a subscriber.
Try 20 gpm 300 psi roller pump
Did you find a gun and tip that worked better with this?
