You all scrubb up very nicely! Thanks for the Heresy shout out guys! I love the new Iron Warriors models, actually quite tempted to do Iron Warriors next year. As regards the Chaplain origins yeah, Erebus was the only Chaplain in existence until Gulliaman laid out the Codex Astartes after the Heresy. The Overseer thing is quite new in the lore I think but it's quite interesting. As regards starting a Heresy army Luke as an Ultramarines fan the irony of doing a Word Bearers army would be hilarious 😂. Congratulations on a year of the podcast guys, I watch a lot of channels but I think you three just look at the hobby exactly as I do. 😊

It's depressing how much disrespect GW have for Old World Warhammer Fantasy. No wonder the game is on life support. People who are toxicly positive are just as much to blame.

I double checked and that Blood Angels army is indeed 2000 points! I have the two Blood Angels sergeants, and 4 of the Death Company marines. Tempted to try and slowly make this, as I have a MDF version of the ruined chapel coming from Kickstarter at some point.

I would be surprised if they didn't reveal Krieg. Unless they do a switcharoo and reveal the Eldar, seeing as Fuegan did got leaked and then revealed not too long ago. Then some Kruleboyz, as the grot boss got also leaked. And finally, the Empire range reveal.

i need halfling/gnome in AoS, i want hope and laugh for the Order faction. atm with war, climate change, economic crisis etc un need a little ray of hope and joy in my favorite game.

Agree with most of your predictions, Old World will be Empire with maybe a couple of new characters for other armies, Heresy will be more Mechanicum units, 40k Krieg and Eldar, Sigmar is the unknown one, Chaos Dwarfs would be awesome.

Yeah, slightly sad that the cards didn’t come in little deck boxes. But people are probably going to sleeve them anyway so the boxes would have had to be a bit oversized.

Si, as a Northener I can't believe you've gone for three Southern Softy Elf armies! You have let me down! For me it's Space Wolves, Warriors of Chaos and Slaves to Darkness. But Heresy is the best game and setting!

Ohhh interesting on the factions! Space Marines are definitely cooler with Primaris! The scale alone makes the army look real nice. Plus Gravis is awesome! For my factions, it's similar to Lukes actually 40K - T'au - Both the Kroot waifu side and the aesthetic of the mecha side. Just give them more Auxilleries GW! AoS - Seraphon and Kharadron Overlords actually tie. As a scaly I stand with my Seraphon bretheren, but steampunk dwarves are so different and cool and FLYING SHIPS Old World - Lizardment, easy same as above dinosaurs and lizard people! Fave system? Considering I haven't play a ton I'm going to go on lore and aesthetics and damn dudes AoS has SUCH good factions compared to the other two. They're SO different! But Old World does have fantastic lore. Also like Si with the Idoneth I super recommend people actually read more AoS lore. The internet memes on it and folks seem to roll with that rather than looking more into it, but they legit have some of the best factions GW designed. The only thing holding it back is that because it's Planar with the realms there is less of a concrete sense of place like Old World has

I mean I don't get the problem. It's $60 a year in the US. You get a miniature if was sold individually would be $35-40. And then to the fact you don't have to pay $60 per faction book. Because let's be real people have more than one army. And that's not even getting into rest of it.

My favourite cartoon in the 80's was Robotech, and there's been a few miniatures games based off of it. And all of them were cursed. 😅

I'm kinda new to 40k so i dont know how every army works but is there armies that rely heavily on deep stike. My thoughts are that the army would operate around the deep stike mechanic to keep wirh the tunneling aspect of rats, maybe like strong leaders and a bunch of squishy little guys. So like a hoarding deep strike army.

Ben, there are already rules for titans and Knights in Legions Imperialis, it's called Titan death and is in the Great Slaughter book that's already out. The new book will be rules for Traitor Households to run with Dark Mechanicum.

Those were some really good ideas for Combat Patrols! Getting skinks back would be great, the Eldar one feels too focused so the reapers would be a cool addition and I'm really sold on a melee 'Nid one. I'm actually really disappointed with the current ways to start 'Nids. They can shoot, but it feels kinda wrong to not have strong melee options! For Golden Demon, I wanna say the Skinks too were my fave, but I actually like the Necromunda Escher biker even more than the one that won the Slayer Sword so it's probably my fave!

Most of the minis are from a game called "Bot War" that have been converted and the vehicles are painted micro machines. I am about a decade to young to have seen these cartoons but the episodes was still a good watch. Keep them coming!

What a fun episode! Thanks for this, a real bang of nostalgia. I also have an idea for a miniature game. - Gorkamorka (or something similar), but Biker Mice From Mars! Vehicular combat madness with bikes and buggies duking it out on Mars and ruined city streets. Seriously, go watch the opening for the original series and tell me that wouldn't be a cracking setting for a tabletop game!

Those were some great choices and I got smacked around by waves of nostalgia from some of those intros! I'm slightly younger I think than you folks so most of my cartoon tastes were formed in the early 90s, but we also got a lot of syndicated stuff this side of the world. My faves would have to be Dino Riders, Bravestarr, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and most of the Disney stuff like Ducktales. From the early 90s though there was a super cool Conan cartoon that I think really made me fall in love with fantasy. I blame most these for making me love Science-Fantasy as my fave genre.
