Co-op mode is a great idea. As you said, excellent way to introduce a new player to the game. I would generally run a bunch of Poxwalkers against a new player as an intro scenario. GW also suggested that the existing teams were going to get UPDATED rules online at release. Certainly they’d need to modify the data cards to remove shapes from the stats. I wonder if there’s going to be a new general ability, like reactions from Warcry, with a unique version for each faction.
Theres a couple of 80s cartoons that I actually think would work BETTER as miniatures games than they did as cartoons. 1st was Visionaries, using clear plastic or resin with a coloured tint for the magical things that come out of their chests etc, handful of guys per side with their own specialisms and maybe a vehicle here and there in bigger sized games. And 2nd was Sectaurs (although the name is awful) bug people riding giant bugs! The idea of say player 1 having small but powerful and noble Ant people for instance with maybe a giant soldier ant and a couple of flying ants and they're going up against the cruel and sadistic Hornets with dragon sized hornet models. Or the Arachnoids with Spider riders swarming around a massive Tarantula centre piece!
Why did they change the Spyrer lore? The rigs were supposed to be left over artefacts from the Dark Age of Technology that the noble families kept secreted away. That lore makes much more sense (as Necromunda has only seen minor changes and exists as it was for over 10,000 years, just deteriorating). Also I prefer the aesthetic style of the 90s Spyrer suits.

Yeh very excited about the coop. And yes free faction rules are great. And yes would be cool to see faction specific abilities as you say.

Was going to say for the week I’m away I’ll get the lads to answer which 80s cartoons they think would make the best miniature games!
