Got Bit by a Tick Now What?
Переглядів 814 роки тому
First of all, use spray on your body when you're in the woods. If you find a tick, get tweezers and pull it off of you - grab as close to the skin as possible. Watch the bite for a month or two and make sure you know what the "bulls-eye rash" looks like. Also watch for chills, fever, fatigue, itching. Mail the tick in to a lab for testing. We used Tick Report. You can look at ILADS.org for accu...

      Hi! good question - there is one symptom left which is certain food intolerances. I didn't ever have to get on medication because I was able to keep things at bay with diet and lifestyle changes - and when I say that it was a SUPER restricted diet and very consequential lifestyle changes that included more rest and deep inner healing times with God.

      hi Hillary! i hear ya - i'm in a similar spot to where i was when i recorded this - stable, feeling good and able to live a great life, but still have severe food intolerances that force me to eat a certain way. i definitely believe God can and will take those away too. but it hasn't happened yet (in the natural/physical). i do think there's a spiritual component to it still - sometimes i pray for deliverance from anything that has attached to my guts. as far as God getting the glory, i don't think that eating safer for a while to give my guts a break will take away from His glory. like, i dont personally think for me it's a matter of more faith equals eating more carbs haa - i have to be wise and work with what i've got, and keep asking for wisdom, freedom and healing ❤️❤️❤️ just some thoughts. blessings sis!

    Hi Thank you for doing this video. I would love to hear your advice on my crazy symptoms. Did you exprience IBS symptoms?(constipation,constant stomach rumbling and cramps no natter what you’re eating), unexplained weight loss,tingling in feet,massive hair loss from scalp,eyelashes,eyebrows and body hair? yellowish nails,geographic tongue, memory problems,night sweats , bad insomnia and unexplained iron deficiency?? I’ve been suffering for 18 months. My colonoscopy+endo are nomal. My gastro want a test for my small intestine(where celiac is happening)

    • @andreahamilton
      @andreahamilton 3 роки тому

      yes those definitely sound like symptoms of celiac. once you are completely off gluten for a while with no cheats and little to no cross-contamination, i think you'll start absorbing nutrients better again. for me, i had to get off dairy and some other things too to really help the inflammation in my guts stop

      @@andreahamilton Thank you for replying:) when you started noticing a change in your symptoms?I really feel like I’m dying. I forgot to mention I have extreme fatigue. I drink so much coffee just to stay awake😔 btw my bloodwork for celiac tested negative. my dr said that 10% of people can have the disease and be tested negative. I tried to take 4 different iron pills for 10 months to elevate iron levels but it didn’t work(I got iron infusion eventually). I was sent to hematologist because my GP was afraid of lymphoma but the hematologist rule this out and I don’t have any enlarged lymph node. he said iron absorption in men is linked only to problems in the digestive tract. I cut off gluten in the last two days but I don’t feel any difference, my stomach is still rumbling intensly.

      @@E10l i would recommend staying off gluten (COMPLETELY, NO CHEATS) for 3 months before expecting much of a change. and lower your caffeine maybe too ha :) drink some electrolytes like "elyte" by BodyBio or whatever brand you find of straight electrolytes. the iron thing is a related but different topic and sometimes really tricky so after the gluten detox you may want to find a functional medicine practitioner or D.O. to help you restore iron absorption if it's still off. also- pray for wisdom :) that helped me!!

    Amen praise Jesus! Beautiful testimony!! I also am a follower of Jesus, and I'm about 90 percent sure I have celiac disease too, I just haven't had an offical diagnosis, I also went through some weird symptoms thinking back on it I had subtle symptoms because since I was a kid I had bad headaches all the time went to doctors, they couldn't figure out what was causing them, I had lots of cramping, and bloating, and also constipation that was settle it started out I would have a bowel movement every 2 to 3 days to a week, and that went on for years I just never thought anything about it until my symtoms started getting soo bad! I began to have health anxiety real bad had all these different things checked out for them not to find anything, then I talked to a coworker about the symptoms I was having one day, and she was like you know my friend was having those symptoms too, and found out she was a Celiac, and I was like huh I never thought about that before. So I did the gluten free diet thing, and my symptoms improved dramatically after about a month of not eating gluten the headaches that I had for years were gone, I felt better, lighter, not tired anymore everything felt much better, and I have been on a gluten free diet for about a year and a half now, and it's much better. Praise Jesus for your healing!! That is wonderful sister may Jesus continue to bless you, and heal you! Your testimony is a blessing! God bless you!

    Thank you for sharing. I was diagnosed with a blood related autoimmune disease in April and my life has been very different since. I only recently learned about the AIP diet and plan to stick to it indefinitely.

      @@LivingHealthyBinley thank you Andrea. I have pieced a few things together and have also seeked the help of a functional medicine doctor. Will be getting tested for the progress of my leaky gut healing asap. Along with finding out the root cause of my condition.

    Praise God, tearing up watching this! God is good. I wanted to ask you, I am very underweight w just being diagnosed the RA autoimmune, I was fatigue for years probably good 10 years now. Not knowing what is happening to me, but I knew it was something to do with my digestion. Candida is another issue I am facing right now. I am very deficient in b vitamins but they make me sick when I take them. Is there a good protein powder you used that helped you with weight that didn't cause side effects. I pretty much stopped going to doctors even natural paths since I didn't find much help there. Doing this on my own now w Gods help trusting him!

      hey alla! yes the only protein powder i use is pumpkin seed protien, the only ingredient is de-fatted pumpkin seed. i seem to tolerate any brand on amazon. if you're able to eat fats, the way i survived at first was healthy fats since my body didnt tolerate many carbs. i think i had some candida issues too but now i'm good to go with that. i dont take b vitamins or even injections or patches as they always make me sick too.

    Jesus deserves every bit of credit! 5 months ago I was diagnosed with Lyme disease, a histamine intolerance, I already had Hoshimoto’s and now Celiacs. I changed my diet to a raw food diet and now the problem is I’m allergic to a lot of foods I ha e to live off of. Bananas, lemons, dates, melon. So what’s really left?! I feel so lost everyday and I feel like I’ll die from a nutrient deficiency! I have a 1 and 2 year old and a husband with Chronic Lyme! My faith is stronger than ever! People do t realize when there’s nothing left in this world, we will always have our faith. I’m a new Christian and still learning the word! Just when I think I’m healing and feel good I start having bad reactions! And these reactions are on the strictest diet you can follow! I’d like to hear more about your story! You’re my only hope right now! I have no family besides my husband and kids and they depend on me! God has always answered my prayers and I believe you were sent to me for a reason!

      Andrea Binley I looked and don’t see it. My email is ajlcerullo@gmail.com. You are a blessing. I honestly already feel like I know you and know the struggle you’ve been through! It’s important to have a support group when dealing with this kind of illness. Sometimes when we don’t feel like we have any strength left for ourselves God beings in others to serve him and show his Glory! It’s beautiful!

    Just saying you cant 'heal' or 'cure' Celiac so its kind of misleading when you have the caption of 'Healing celiac' :/

    • @LivingHealthyBinley
      @LivingHealthyBinley 6 років тому

      thats very true im still diagnosed and still dont eat ANY gluten. but i feel great now and have normal blood sugar, and live free from chronic pain, fatigue and the other issues i was having. i would say that's a lot of healing :) i don't ever claim to heal FROM celiac, just telling my HEALING STORY that i've recovered a lot - from not being able to digest anything and being tired and dizzy every day, to living a normal life again and feeling great :) hope that helps clarify :) ty for watching!
