Now That You're Down - The Impacts
Переглядів 4128 років тому
from Crud Crud blog, 2007... "The Impacts Now that You're Down 45 (Associated Artists, 1966?) Argh! Here is a great garage pop song with some cool falsetto backing vocals and dammit if I can find anything on this. That I am not getting anywhere researching this isn't frustrating. What bugs me is that there are all these little hints that dead end. The first thing is the name of the band, The Im...

"Guess Who" - Six The Hard Way
Переглядів 2 тис.13 років тому
Six the Hardway was an extremely talented 1960s rock band founded by Chuck Girard with drummer Ernie Earnshaw. The band became the initial studio recording musicians for Gary Usher, who co-wrote a couple of Beach Boys songs with Brian Wilson. Under the name Revells, Mecury Records released the single Little Honda, which made the top ten list. And as the group The Hondells, recorded the hit Youn...
Barry Goldberg - Carry On (Frank Zappa and Mike Bloomfield on Guitars)
Переглядів 11 тис.13 років тому
"I played the chords, and Bloomfield played the screeches. And they made this rhythm and blues record, which has a lot of words in it like 'baby'. But I'm sure it's very excellent. Maybe it doesn't even have the words in it like 'baby'. Maybe they got something psychedelic like 'mama'." FZ, 12/22/66

Classic gummer written by a very young, Billy Alessi.
❤ you're a good man Mr Z❤
ofc he could grow such a killer beard. just found out his dad was arab n greek.. i see it! RIP
i am so glad he lived what a star he burned so brightly
Spokesperson for the misogynistic for over thirty years....
Well why don't you sharpen it then?!
But why the BS with these children get to stick it to the other siblings? No class...
So sad that Frank smoked cigarettes and ate junk food.
So much talent in one little world.
We love you Frank, your spirit and music live on
Wow! I just saw a 23 year old Frank on the Steve Allen show, and then this last interview comes up. Really a shock to see him so young, then a dying old man. Another Wow. I just looked up how old he was when he died...52!!! I the old man at 67. He died so young.
He looks like Tom Araya
My dad told me that he used to make my mom sit while she was pregnant with me and he'd blast zappa so I could hear, so I'd be have a sense of humor. It certainly worked. I'm ever so glad because now my daughter and I listen to frank together! He was quite an amazing individual.
Like John and Bobby Kennedy, I remember his passing being announced on the radio. I was on the floor, working on a paper when the dj announced the terrible news. R.I.P.
0:19-0:25 Idk why but to me Frank Zappa in this interview looks a lot like Jason Mantzoukas with the beard.
Honestly I liked his records for the satirical humor. I only recently learned that he was a workaholic. His classical compositions for small orchestras are my favorites. I suspect he had Drs. who misdiagnosed his health. He said several times that he had prostate problems for 10 years. 52 is far too young to pass away from a treatable cancer if his Drs. had not misdiagnosed him.
A musical genius no doubt. Kinda odd that he preferred nicotine to ganja. Almost seems counterintuitive for someone like him.
Quel talent et tellement professionnel.
Forever Frank Zappa!!!!!!!
Frank, your predictions are coming true. The religious loons are taking over.
This guy was called a genius...such a genius that he chained smoked himself to an early grave and he mocked God....how intelligent of him!!!
Some geniuses aren’t ment to be here a long time.Just to make a large impact when they are.
Very, negative. A person making children’s song speaking like that about another person. Shows your true character. Another judgmental Christian. What’s new.
Then they are not geniuses because if they purposely cut their life short, they fail to see that they were geniusly created...and the value of life. self destruction is a foolish act
@@mariovuksanovic5077Einstein opted out. You are the fool
One of my favourite dreams was walking around a convenience store in America looking for something. I then noticed Frank Zappa was working at the checkout. I walked to the counter and said 'You're Frank Zappa aren't you?' He smiled at me and replied, 'Yes I am. But don't tell anybody.' It felt like a visitation. Legend.
Hahahahahahahaha.
R.I.P Frank...
he's literally karl marx
Fans loved him, those who worked with him didn't. That time he used champagne as enemas on women, well, karma ...
How come all the good people like Zappa who use their God given powers, to educate and wake ordinary folk up to the evil system we are forced to be imprisoned within, why do these truth bringers all end up dead or "suicided"? There have been many in recent times too.
this video just reminded me of a time Nicholas slomiski was at North Texas State University. I was in my music theory class, and he came in there and played piano because our instructor knew him from Europe.
Coffee &Cigarettes Were Concidered Food...Rest In Music Mr Zappa..Thank You For Making Life Tolerable For So Many..
God damn cigarettes. Legal poison and a great source of tax revenue, takes far too many good people. Meanwhile they lock everybody down, to "make sure nobody gets sick" from COVID.
Das ist sehr mutig das er sich so zeigt. Und das ist grösse sich so verletzt zu zeigen danke für dieses Video. Familien Zappa. Ich habe Frank. Zappa 1975 in Berlin gesehen und nur

It's so painful to watch. As if someone close to you will die soon.
Sad to see Frank on drugs, but it didn't break his spirit one bit.
May be the best guitarist of the twentiest century !!!
Man i wish i could have liked his music as much as i liked him. Such an interesting character
I’m gonna lay down and die now
Thanks for your music, Frank🙏. RIP
“He was a fully developed character…”😢
Cancer Sucks. Zappa didn't. Fuck Cancer. Long live Frank Zappa.
Lmao 😅
RIP 💐
Здоровья тебе Френк!
Smoking increases the risk of prostate cancer...
Such a humble, kind, and giving soul. Not even an ugly illness affected his beautiful spirit. I miss his honesty... his creativity... his humor. I can only imagine what he would say about the world today. Whenever I think of him... I hum.
Thanks for the Memories Frank Zappa ❤️✴️🙏 from MJK Wales
Chase is on the red coats and fairys
Rest in peace ✌️
😢😂❤
❤
Love u zappa
Poor bugger.
