So far I think 40s is pushing it. Making the 8” front ring gear the weak link after you upgrade the axles, front diff mounts etc… I think 38s or the light KM3 39s could work 😁. See you at Jambo?

Watching this made me realize 1 thing: overlanding has very little to do with the vehicle and everything to do with the driver. The guy in the black Taco is, in my eyes, getting it right 95% of the time. I never understand those cats who want to stop at the worst moment and then look and then curse when shit goes sideways. Keep it movin pimpin. Nice and easy, like a tank. See your path before committing to it, know which way you want to go and do it.

I gotta ask, why didn't you use your MTS or even A-TRAC? You may have used your rear locker once there but not on the rest of the attempts. You'd have done just fine on 33's using only MTS on rock setting.
