Great mill!!! Need to get a shed build over it and add about 40 feet to your drag chain.
Thank you! I'm hoping to start a shed this year. Yeah an old sawmill fella was over looking at the mill one day and said I needed to run that chain on out to one of those white oaks. I appreciate you watching and commenting
Just bought some pine 5/4 , very happy with the quality and price. Support your local mill, semper fi !!!!!
I enjoyed meeting ya'll and thank you for commenting on the channel Shannon
If you’re not gonna wear a Mike closer to the camera. It has a built-in microphone. I can’t hear a word you’re saying. God bless why do you cut your off cuts so thick? I say.✌️🇨🇦
I'll try and speak up. Thanks for watching
Another great video. I like the speed at which you saw. Take care God bless. ✌️🇨🇦
I appreciate it. Thank you very much for watching and commenting
Nice work with the editing and different camera angles and very nice pine! Be well
I appreciate it, friend. Trying to put a little more effort in the videos. The ole mill was running really nice. Glad I was able to get those good logs. Thanks for watching and commenting
again nice job, your mill likes good logs
Thank you, the ole mill ran the best that it ever has
GOOD job, nice looking logs today. The old diesel is smoking like a cheap cigar.
Very nice logs. Yeah, thanks for watching and commenting
Nice bit of work on those logs, and the saw seems to be singing just fine. Your friend should be quite pleased with the finished product. Hope your family is well and everything is going well in your world.
They turned out really nice. Thanks for watching and commenting
hi there doing real good on the sawmill / nice sawing best to all john
I appreciate it. It run the best on these logs than ever before
Watching videos of my fav UA-camr this morning. Aww Rosko!!
Rosko
Pretty lumber! Sure does cut nice. Great video for a Sunday morning:)
Best the mill has ever cut
Farmers over here have been baling hay and harvesting wheat. I not an expert but it seems to be a perfect time for them. The dry weather might delay the soybean seed but maybe we'll get a thunderstorm or two sometime another. Speaking of ticks, other men claim to be a "chic magnet". Me I am a "tick magnet". If thays a tick around anywhirs, it's because it's looking for me!
Thanks Papaw for watching and commenting
Does the air conditioner work in your cab?
You bet! Yeah it gets really really hot so it's almost a necessity. I appreciate you watching and commenting
Don’t like camera angle can’t see what is going on put camera where viewing public can see what you are doing or you will loose subscribers ,
I appreciate the feedback. I'll place the swing arm camera on the cab for the next video. Thank you very much for watching and commenting
Impressive video!! Enjoyed the sawing❣️ Good angles and audio on this video!
Thanks for watching and commenting
That old Detroit sounds good Don’t like cameras on the carriage make’s everything look like it has a bow in it
That's a good ole Detroit. I'm fixing a mount on top of the saw cab. Hope it works good on next video. Thanks for watching and commenting
Nice mill!!!! Boom!!!!!
I appreciate it. Thank you for watching and commenting
Tell that camera man; don't go to Hollywood!
I'll try and tell him. He's got big dreams like all of us. I hope it can take it well after I break it to him. I appreciate you watching and commenting
Enjoyed the sawing, well done!
Thank you, I appreciate you watching and commenting
Happy Father's Day ❤❤❤
Thank you Ms. Karen, I did have a happy father's day. I appreciate you watching and commenting
happy Fathers day first of all, and that's a nice bit of cutting on those logs.
Well thank you, it was a happy father's day. Thanks for watching and commenting
I was expecting a big boom, I thought maybe the motor was going to go boom. Luckily it didn't happen good 2X4's ..
Lol. Thankfully not, the motor.
hi looks like it is sawing good ,well done ,best to all john
Thank you, I appreciate it
Lot's of blue inside those logs. What causes that?
It's a fungi caused by barking beetles. I think you get more of it the longer your logs are waiting to be sawed.
good job sawing Shannon , everyone needs a "BOOM" lol!
Appreciate it, Mark
Nice video as always! What a nice introduction and conclusion to the video. Loved to see that saw turning as always. And hello Mr. Pig! lol

Yes sir I'm planning to build a shed this year. Thanks for watching and commenting
@@templehillsawmill1748 once you bought the mill how long did it take you in total to get it set back up?
Good job man and your good looking help did a good job Keep it up..
They hung in there. I had to hire them from the swimming pool. Then they went right back in. Thanks for watching and commenting
Nice bit of saw work there. Too bad your brother couldn't be there to help since some of the wood is coming his way.
I appreciate it. I'm surprised he's not wanted to help by now. Thanks for watching and commenting
Thank the girls for their service from a retired Army grunt.
Yes sir, sure will and thank you for your service as well.
hi there some nice sawing , best to all john
I appreciate it. Thank you
I wish you would hurry up and build you a back porch on your little deer stand there. You worry me stepping out on the top of a step ladder.
Yes sir I do need to get that done. Thank you for watching and commenting
@@templehillsawmill1748 Maybe he could use some extra boards from todays cut o get started on it.
Could the water have maybe damaged the pump
I think so. But I'm not sure
Good job!
I appreciate it. Thanks for watching and commenting
Like the cover photo! Nice video. I like all the different cuts. Can tell you put a lot of work in!!!
It does!
Keeping up on the general maintenance saves a lot of headaches in the long run. It will be nice to see you under shelter so that the bad weather doesn't have such a bad effect on the equipment.
Yes sir, I am planning on raising a shed this summer. I sure do need one for sure. Thanks for watching and commenting
good job, you doing good
Thanks!
A little steady maintenance will do the trick. Great video Shannon.
I hope so! I appreciate it
Great video. And good looking shirt Shannon. Thanks
Well I appreciate it. Gotta wear them sawmill shirts and hats on video days.
That looked like plain old chlorox jugs but I'm sure they ain't. I'll bet they were $49.95 each at the parts place.
Chlorox air cleaners! Lol thanks for watching and commenting
Hopefully that'll solve your carriage problems. I know one area on the side of your air compressor that shouldn't rust 😁
Fingers crossed! I hope it helps. If not I think the gearbox will need rebuilding
And thanks for watching and commenting
i like the black and white. A nice change. As always another good video!
thanks for the sub
That was pretty good in black and white. Brought back some childhood memories. Color? Nobody has color. 😂
I appreciate it Ed. I was just clowning around with this. It is different. Thanks for watching and commenting
Good video, it's a shame one got lost. As far as editing...for one of our 15 minute-ish videos it'll take 2 evenings. One evening seeing what the footage we got and thinking about it, the next evening putting it all together. We use 2 and sometimes 3 cameras and that really adds to the editing time.
Thanks for the info. Most don't realize the amount of time is involved to upload content. With that being said I do find it satisfying work though. I appreciate all you do and thanks for watching and commenting
I try to keep it simple with my phone and iPad. Storage is always an issue and the cloud… well that’s for the birds 😂
I've not seen anything simple about any of it. And the cloud, I know it's there but have never looked into it. I appreciate ya.
I'm only speaking for myself but I appreciate the time and effort y'all put into the videos. I really enjoy watching you and your crew at the mill. It kinda looks like your roller bed needs to be raised just a smidge so that boards that are just cut will be brought off of the feed belt by the blade, maybe im not seeing it correctly either.
Thank you, and I agree that some time I need to work on the roller beds. The height needs to be better and there needs to be more roller. I appreciate you watching and commenting
maybe you just need to find the right software for editing a video. As far as the grease fitting, it sounds like it needs to be pulled and the entire chamber cleaned and debrided. You might have a metal particulate deposit built up which is clogging the works.
I was hoping someone would think it would be good to unbolt that and clean it out. I'll try that for sure. I probably should look at more software. There has to be a better kind than what I'm using. Thank you for watching and commenting. I really do appreciate you
Looks like an old cowboy movie back when were just nothing but fun!
Lol. It does
Yeah that’s a lot better place for the camera 👍🙏
Thanks Joe, I appreciate you commenting. Thanks for watching
hi kind of looks neat in black and white .good show . john
Appreciate it
