It means do the alg facing the y side from the original G perm side, doing U basically does the same thing!

Heyy so far my V9 hasn't got scratches after 7 months...and i don't think UV cubes get scratches often. I did some searching and I haven't seen others' V9 getting scratches. Does it look obvious?

Oh yeah I do notice some very tiny scratches under flashlight, I suppose it's just normal wear after that many solves. Are the scratches on your cube obvious while not under flashlight?

Flagship! I wanted to get pioneer but after watching some reviews I wasn't sure if the extra cost for a riskier cube was worth it...

@@JusTwistCubing How fast is it how controllable is it and what are the good things about it and the bad things about it because I'm getting a new cube I'm thinking of getting a tornado V3 Pioneer UV a Gan 12 a Gan 13 a MoYu weilong wrm v10 maglev a V9 Ball core or either V9 20 magnet ball core which do you think is the best

I haven't received my V4 yet (I don't have V3 pioneer, Gan 12, Gan 13, V9 20magnets ballcore either...) but Ill try to help you decide based on what I know. What is your current main cube? Do you turn aggressively? Do you prefer strong magnets?

It has been a few months after I installed the edge magnets. To summarize: Do I like it? Yes. Is it objectively better? I am not sure. I like it because generally I prefer stronger magnets, and the presence of strong auto-alignment. But these definitely took away some qualities that people like from the cube: it doesn't turn as smoothly (weight of magnets increased friction) / softly, and it became heavier and blockier. So I'd say if you have other good main cubes, or you know for sure that you prefer a 'stronger' GuHong, then definitely go for it. But if you really like its original turning feel and don’t want to risk losing that feeling, it might be better to wait until you have more cubes at your disposal.

I've been thinking about doing this to my guhong, but I was worried it might ruin the feel. So it's great to hear your pros and cons. And i don't have any other cubes that are as good as this one, so it would be a shame if it ended up feeling bad after modding. I'll try to hold off on modding until I have another cube. I use an Rs3m 2021 and It has a satisfying turn after lubing,Do I buy this cube are the upcoming TV4 which is almost like the TV3?

What I meant by sandy: there's slight friction in the middle of a turn. So instead of the direct push that the V9 has, the turning of V10 is lighter with some sensible friction. I would describe it as the feeling of writing on a piece of paper with a pencil. And I don't really mean that V10 has lower quality. It's just that I've seen more people posting their V10 breaking, and the material changed from more metal to more plastic which might have contributed to their cubes breaking. I am not familiar with RS3M 2021 and I haven't got a tornado V4 yet (I am expecting to get it soon! I'll try to make a detailed review on it). But I own the V10 and the tornado V3. I'd say they feel quite distinct. I think a key question that can help you decide is: Do you prefer your cube to be more compact? Like do you want good auto alignment, do you want each turn to feel like a snap? The tornado V3 is known for it's smoothness, and the Weilong V10 feels more snappy (stronger magnetic feel). I am not sure about how much of an upgrade the Tornado V4 is. But I will definitely compare it to the V3 in my review to help you decide better. (Btw you can find a V3 review and a V10 review in my channel!

How do you fingertrick it? I know J-Perm uses righty index and middle for the first 2 U moves but I find it very hard to execute

Just watched the video! Yeah the way you do it is kinda like Jperm, which should be more popular. Personally my fingers coordinate better when I don't overload my right hand lol

I don't have the V5 but the V9's turning is very strong. I would say it is heavy at the start of each turn, but once you initiate a turn, you don't need to apply much force in the middle of it. That's why the V9 suits an aggressive turning style in my opinion.

Im looking forward to purchase a TV4 pioneer! From what's been shown, it seems like TV4 flagship feels similar to TV3, with better quality and turning. So I am very excited to try the pioneer version which has extra repelling magnets
