I’ve only had one attorney who has worked on my case. However, AS SOON AS I was finally able to speak with him (not just his team via text messages) he was very rude, disrespectful and condescending. He even yelled at me, actually literally adding INSULT to injury (workplace injury). I did contact another attorney at the end of 2022 who was willing to take the case after I had a QME appointment and would be able to send transcripts to him. Sadly, the QME turned out to be extremely corrupt (found guilty of malpractice in the San Francisco Bay Area along with his mother in law, the story is in the news). I was, months later, scheduled to be seen by a different QME. And 3 weeks ago, I spoke to the attorney for the third time and he’s just as harsh - psychologically abusive - as he was the other two times. The first time, via zoom and just an hour before the deposition, I was seriously wondering if he’s an alcoholic. My question is, now, at the time of the attorney seeking to settle the case, is there still enough time for me to substitute a new attorney? I cannot tolerate this guy. He has no emotional intelligence whatsoever. I honestly feel like I am abusing myself when talking to him. It’s kind of traumatizing. The case and all of the details of it alone has been stressful enough.

Am in NY how can I obtain the dismissal of attorney form for that state

10 1/2 years in D.c need surgery again after 7 years ago I was told now I need and a additional surgery for over compensating when walking with a cane for 10 1/2 years a never recovered!!!!

Wish we had saw this video before we hired the attorney group we got. We callled cause we saw him on tv. The case draged on theee years. Then our loved one got pennies for their settlement. Three long years. Our family member was taken advantage of cause their disabilities. They've got autism. If we could go back, wish wed seen this video. We believe the company our loved one was suing paid the lawyers off. Their sharks.

Thank you again for these videos. Yes the treatment system is flawed. It’s such a game with the insurance dragging their feet but I will look into filing for unemployment or disability. It’s ridiculous bc I’ve told my law firm and Dr my employer didn’t offer me a position. It’s absolutely ridiculous for me to just suffer now going on 4 months and they are so liable for this.

Question: we had the Mediation, came to Settlement amount with Medicals kept open. No MSA. Next will be all the signing. Making it all official. How do i KNOW with 100% certainty that Medicals are Open, this WC insurance Co will remain Primary payer for injury, what will we see. Be signing to give us that assurance? Should we be getting a new Insurance card from them. Can we ask for one ?

This is utterly heart wrenching..Especially trying to find one after you find out they didn't care to help..they told him 5 months...The toll its taken on my Father is taking a toll on me. He hired an Attorney 2 years ago and paid $20k for 2 subpoenas and a petition of Trust. Instead, and after the agreement she said she couldn't do these things unless she filed a lawsuit. Now almost 2 years later, the other side stated no evidence..My father almost had a nervous breakdown. He asked her why shed do this. Finding out she NEVER did the subpoenas and she never petitioned the Trust. My Father showed in court devestated and stressed with his bag of evidence.. The judge asked why he was there. After that she sent him a file with a note to be dismissed. Now he is worried about turning in evidence struggling, supporting my grandma, working physical labor...and he doesnt know what to do. It is horrible. It is breaking my heart. Finding an attorney is so difficult. Watching him fight for justice for Grandma while hes being harrased and threatened...there are no words..I wish this world was for justice..Not full of people who lie..they have no comprehension of the duress they further cause an individual.. Ive tried to help I've tried to find an Attorney..I dont know how to help him. Hes raised 8 of us as a single father and he has worked so hard and contines to. I would give anything to have it turned around. But what do you do when the attorney wont respond while you cant find an Attorney to take over..while you have to submit evidence and its too overwhelming..what do you do..

I'VE I've had three surgeries on my right shoulder q&A doctor set my treating physician should have gave me his shoulder replacement cuz I have another tear now was scheduled to appointment with my reading physician she got she got mad that's a negative comments my shoulder I said the qme doctors told me she ordered physical therapy shoulder and neck never got an appointment call , Settlement offer, they want me want me to resign from my job cuz they can't accommodate nothing else permanent stationary another surgery that was added on my case for I feel like I feel I got kind of screwed over and my attorney didn't do his job to the fullest at a certain point here recently I've been going through this for over 5 years frustrated stressful light depression that's why I was asking what's a CNR I still I'm still going to need medical medical medical attention my case is complex was harassed on the job injured at 3 of the facilities i was being treated at they never charted those injuries that they caused. Yes yes I reported everything I kept like a journal attorney knows new and know everything! What is there left for me to do?

What if your on modified duty and the accommodation they gave you cause more pain and you barely get through your 4-Hour shift and complete a Aaron couldn't complete a full week add had to take pain meds

For anyone who’s dealing with these evil workers comp managers, their doctors will always say, they cannot find out what the issue is when you’ve been injured on a job. AND PLEASE DO NOT GIVE THEM ACCESS TO YOUR FULL MEDICAL RECORD HISTORY. DO NOT DO IT. Go to your own doctor, gather medical evidence and keep scheduling appointments with your workers comp manager and wait it out. Eventually they will offer a settlement and before you reach this stage, you need to gather information about your injury, surgery cost, lost wages healing from surgery, physical therapy and negotiate a settlement depending on those factors. Workers comp often deals with individuals who doesn’t know their laws or how workers comp functions, remember, all they can do is induce fear. So study about the laws. You are in control. They will also try underhanded tricks, like trying to make you resign before you receive the settlement papers and stuff like that. Do not talk much with them on the phone either, just give one worded answers and EMAIL THEM ALL THE TIME. I absolutely hate them and they absolutely hate us no matter how sweet they sound. Me and my recent workers comp had heated situations due to her own misunderstandings. Their goal is to belittle your injury and stop you from pursuing the case any further. PUSH AND PURSUE. It will work out!

So I had reached out to my claim specialist about a C&R per my dr knowing my MMI date was coming up. We settled on an amount.. I was told paperwork would be sent out that week and then she ignored emails on and off for two months. She told me I could cancel my doctors appointment, which I did. Only now to find out via the defense attorney I need a P&S to take to the judge. That being said, I tried rescheduling my appointment. I can’t get seen until September now. When we first talked about settlement she made me feel like it would take too long to get a QME. But after her ignoring messages and prolonging my case for the last two months I could have been to a QME or at least not cancel my last appointment so that I could get a C&R. I explained to the defense attorney financially I need to settle and I want to take on my own medical bills … originally he said we can do it without a P&S now he’s stating that we need one to move forward. Its beyond frustrating.. I contacted my doctors office but they stated that my case was moved to a specialist so I would not be able to see my primary any longer to get a C&R. I feel like I’m constantly being told one thing over what the actual truth is.
