I heard that we’re not supposed to go to Hawaii anymore since all the tourism has such a bad impact on the native Hawaiians? Like with water and increased cost of living, etc! I’m sure there’s some places with similar attractions that people could recommend to go to instead, there’s definitely so many beautiful places to go to and you both deserve to go somewhere new/ explore a bit, have fun

I loved this episode, hearing about other tropes, because as a writer I can get an idea of what people like and don't like. My current favorite trope is the idea of producing an heir. I'm reading A Reaper At The Gates and it has that trope and it's so interesting!

"You have to go to things to show people you care, that you want to be friends" so true. I wish more people valued their friendships and didn't take them for granted.

I really appreciate that this is the topic of this episode. I JUST had a falling out with a friend because she has gotten WAY too comfortable with cancelling on me. I called her out for it, and she took it so personally and never took accountability for how she might have actually hurt me. She just said "I have a lot going on in my life." But some of her excuses were that she had to cook dinner for her boyfriends grandpa's birthday with the family. The birthday wasn't for two days 🙄 She even cancelled on something that was supposed to be for my birthday. It was just constant with no consideration of my feelings. And you're right, it breaks trust, which is why it finally came to a head.

I personally don’t think we’re getting both this year, because I really want her to also release The Holiday EP TV and I can’t imagine she would release that as the last thing (I’m assuming Beautiful Eyes will probably be included as part of TSTV). I guess she could release one of them just before New Year and that would work, but I’m not sure how likely two releases that close together would be (even if one of them *is* a holiday EP 😂).

I regularly rewatch your (Christine's) TOG book rants, I remember when the first one came out and I fucking love them. I remember thinking "finally someone is showing the appropiate level of emotion and excitement for these books" 😂 Your facepaint for some of those rants used to make me smile with all the contagious joy

This was really eye opening for how people like Christine made it possible for present day book influencers to be able make real money and be relevant online, and how many of them probably don't even know it

Twilight movie came out when I was a freshman, so November 2008. soo many good memories 😭💖 I read twilight in 8th grade that I got for Christmas 2007.
