I really love what you said. It’s the most Terrifying, horrible part of playing ESO. It’s almost like a fanatical witchhunt in which we live in Salem. And anyone who accuses you have power over you. I have never cheated and I played from day one and I’ve seen lots and lots of cheating, exploits, etc. and it’s terrible, but all games have it.

It's even more frightening to know that if enough salt comes together, they can all spam report a player and likely get them suspended or banned due to ZOS's shoddy at best support team. It would be a benefit for the entire community if people stopped sending in false reports for silly things like hackusating so that the support team could focus in on actual rulebreakers/obvious report targeting instead of having to sift through little johnny's hackusations.

ZOS has become woke as fuck. I was typing in reply to a zone convo that was happening in regard to ww1 and ww2, and some dude was talking about Hitler and that he had done good things, which was when i replied "Yes, you are right, Hitler did do good things but that doesn't make him not an evil piece of shit, the negative outweighs the good". then zinimax somehow snuffs me out, and hits me with a final warning (my previous char name was Lets make a baby "for pvp " which i also got warned for. so now if i step out of line in anyway shape or form zinimax staff/not automated has advised me il be permanently banned for their platform, So i unfriended everyone, and i dont talk in zone or in any chat anymore and have learnt to go solo. it sucks, but iv spent too much money on the game to risk anything.

It's the auto dodge that pisses me off. Also cross healing is op lol. Ball groups are way to good.

I don't know what's worse... The fact that the devs are so quick to ban players, or the fact that this game is full of snowflakes who take pleasure in reporting such silly things to the devs, and enjoy being snitches.

I'm in support of harsher penalties for toxic players in cyrodiil. So sick of players who can't handle being killed that want to send hate mail about your build or T bag you when they get revenge just because it hurt their ego. I can be killed by the same player 5 times but when i finally get him back i either get tageted and t bagged or a whisper calling me trash or saying I'm crutching with a broken build etc.

There is virtually no risk for a new player to get a cheat threat. The 1337 gankers don't let them alive long enough to even try to kill anyone. That, I would say is a problem actually.

Only positive things with sucking at PvP. I never get accused of cheating. 😛

Ball groups suck. Overbuffed due to group buffs. Many people don't group with support armor especially newer players. PVP becomes one sided and ball groups just runaround with really no pvp happening. Ball groups just run over the other players. Ball group pvp is unbalanced. I'd like to see no support armor in pvp. Then players can rely more on their own skill. I would not be opposed to Ball groups having their own campaign.

Eso is completely overrun with cheaters and so many ppl are in denial of it. Just a couple days ago I saw someone spaming meteor and skoria procs in a bg. Then you have wide spread use of macros through out the whole game, pve and pvp. I was lvling a new toon in U50 cyrodill and there was a guy running around just spaming barriers. Then you got the sneaky cheaters that just change the values of abilities and passives, an example would they change an execute threshold to be at 80% health and do 500% more dmg. Theres not a single place in the game that doesnt have some one cheating in some way. Its not as noticeable in overland and normal dungeons because its so easy but its there.

Funny because I'm dealing with the same problem on red dead. Being called a cheater when I don't cheat. I have my builds surrounding my deadeyes and mainly I'm running a DPS build and the ones who lose to me badly instead of getting a gg it's "how much did that account cost?" Or "you're cheating." Or even "reported for cheating." I fought against cheaters before especially the ones with scripts, all that did for me was improve my PVP skills even greater. If they couldn't even barely stand going up against me. Then when they finally actually fight a cheater they will get torn apart. It's not our fault some of these players suck at PVP but then yet they wanted to start the fight between us decent players just to get their butts kicked. Hell even someone on discord said that I was using aim bot but the only aiming I was using was the in game aiming through the options menu where I set my settings to my liking. Other than that. That's it. I have no special remote, no special device and no special settings for my console. But hey my only advice that I can give them is "find out which deadeye works for you and make a build out of it." For someone who would rather start a fight with me I wouldn't help become better. Unless if would ask me to help them fight better in a spar before they pulled the trigger.

In the time I played pvp as main content, I saw very less "cheaters". Like 99% you are just not that good and thats why you are dead. But some dudes can really breaking the game with dodging and blocking to the exact perfect time every ult from 10 players are droped. That was the hardest "cheat" I saw so far, 2 dudes surviving every ult they got hit by and doing good combs. It was clearly not possible to dodge or block all ults, but they managed it to have 100% of ult blocking or dodging from up to 10 players. Beside that I didnt noticed any cheaters in the game so far.

je suis d'accord avec toi . mais il faut pas se cacher qu'il y a des joueurs qui utilise une technique de triche . moi sa fait 1 semaine que je tue les boss de la cité impérial no cp et je suis de couleur bleu . il y a une équipe qui tourne en bleu des qu' il me voit il change de personnage et il vienne en couleur jaune toujours un sorcier magie sans exception il arrive a m'envoyer 4 technique en 0:5 seconde cela est impossible et je parle pas de leur détonation qui taper a retardement . personnellement je suis un Ancient joueur du coup je sait se qui est possible ou pas et je continue a jouer contre eux il harcelle de message pour que je parte se que je ne fait pas bien sur j essaye de les ralentir niveau farming mais aucun des alliée bleu essaye quoi que se soit vu qu'il fond de l anti jeu je les signale tous les jours mai rien ne se passe vu que je suis le seul a le faire je pense . je me bat en duel contre les plus fort du jeu quand je perd c est qu'il a étais plus réactif que moi et peu être sont personnage mieux régler aussi mais la leur sorcier c"est comme si je me bat contre 4 joueur qui tape sans cesse du coup oui i y a du cheat mais je pense que se soit qu'une petite minorité de joueur nul qui exploite soit une faille soit des macro avec le mode turbo et j'ai remarquer que sur cyrodill et dans les champ de bataille ou i y a des classement ben bizarrement je les voie jamais c est juste dans la cite no cp pour être moins visible de la masse de joueur je le répète 1 semaine de farming j ai vu aucun vrai bleu avec moi et quand je voie les bleu que je vous parle il change de faction pour me tuer je m'exprime de cette façon pour pas que les joueur se dégoute du jeu viser les mode de jeu avec classement sa sera plus simple pour progresser et les joueurs se fond attraper si il triche devant la foule . bon jeu a tous est vous laisser pas intimider parce que je genre de joueur toxique ne reste pas sur le jeu longtemps car il ne joue pas au même jeu que nous il se lasse vite il veule juste souler les joueurs

These comments really makes me wonder if this ban policy needs to change. We have people in the comments complaining about this policy... when they are impersonating staff, stealing from others, or other incredibly stupid actions that would get you banned in any game. It is starting to seem more and more like the issue is the community is very toxic. Criticism shouldn't be banned, but the community has shown it has a large incredibly stupid portion that needs to be heavily monitored. It sucks.

There ARE cheats in Battlegrounds One that is common is when a group joins battlegrounds and finds themselves having 3 of the group on one team and 2 on another team !¬ They run around in a group splattering folk ! It is only when you stand back and watch that you realise WHY you keep getting beat so fast ! Instead of being 3 teams of 4 you can often find even your allies on your team will not help you ! Therefore you go into a fight expecting 4vs 4 and what you get is you vs 5 or 6 ¬ and your team mates standing back watching ! ... Players still hide inside certain walls or rocks and rain arrows or spells on you as you try and find them ! There are other cheats too ! .. BUT THE CHEATERS SIMPLY JUSTIFY BY CALLING ANYONE WHO SAYS CHEAT A POOR PLAYER AND SORE LOSER ! .... PS .. I AM A POOR PVP PLAYER ! AND I KNOW IT ! I won't get good cos i only play to get the perks ! As soon as i get the perks on the character i will never enter PVP again with said character ! The ganks and cheats make PVP something i DO NOT WANT TO DO .. I have no axe to grind ! I DO NOT REPORT PLAYERS ! Others may enjoy playing that way so good luck to them ! I however do not !

It's funny because when me and my brother first got the game, his @name was @Ligmaballs122. We log off, and I log on one day to see a @PinkRhino122 in my friendslist, I read the toon name and well enough... They renamed his account without sending any warning xD

This is such a great video and highlights the massive player problem we have in eso. I play on NA and it seems like these issues are over on EU too, hope zenimax starts taking their own policy’s seriously

I think the problem stems from FPS shooters, there is what can best be described as an epidemic of cheaters in FPS shooters and it’s not unrealistic in games like escape from Tarkov / CS that you die more to cheaters than legit players, it’s not unrealistic that more than 60% of 9 person matches have at least 1 cheater, using a little binomial math this suggest that around 10% of players are cheating. People then come to ESO, die without knowing how, and just assumes that things are the same. In ESO cheating is almost always gold related (dupe gltiches, bot farming). People don't care enough to cheat in ESO, which is also a little sad in itself.

This happens in the forums too. Not for names, but just for basic speech. I got perma banned for baiting when posting a discussion about a game balance topic (there was no bait, and they listed no specific instance in the ban, and my appeal was bot rejected). You can't really do anything about it; Zos normally has moderators that edit your post and remove what they think is "bait," but due to it being really vague, critique can be taken that way. Didn't even realize you could get banned for it due to the normal moderation of the forums, let alone permanently banned. I wouldn't have participated in the forums if I knew you could get banned for posting something he devs don't like, probably would have stuck to the eso reddit instead. I'm not banned in the main game fyi, just the forums, but dedicating time to posting topics to get banned, I wouldn't have posted in that forum since it's not really a forum, but a echo chamber at that point.

They don't have an A.I to ban people, someone reported them for their name or something else to be petty and ESOs customer service is brilliant, quick responses and have always been super supportive whenever I've needed to get in touch with them.

I’ve heard from people that they know for a fact, people are indeed cheating and I’m not talking about people who just randomly accuse players who are better than them. These players were very good and there friends have specifically said they do use some sort of cheat. However the most common from what I’ve heard is people using all mundus stones and using PvE and overland buffs in cyrodiil. But take everything I say with a pinch of salt because I have no absolute proof of it. All I can say is that the best players won’t use cheats if they exist

There our Beta testers in every system still getting a benefit still collecting data and feedback for the devs. Bans work in a similar ways as well certain people have weight in the report!

one i know was banned for about a year and a half for a card game exploit which was more a bug when new, checking mail bag then accepting made a victory

I have been a positive, peaceful member of the ESO community for 6 years. Several months ago, I got permanently banned because of my character name "Picks on Small Children". I had this name for 4 years with no complaint, then all of the sudden it was deemed so offensive that I could never play again. No warning, no request to change my name to avoid such a penalty. Just boom - done.

IKR! I got banned permanently for having the name 'Inclap Dat Azz Cuz' when it's a play on Incapacitating strike. And I've seen WAY crazier names jus pass by.
